Orbi 970 Didn't Meet Expectations for Home Coverage

Verified Purchase:Yes
I operate an Airbnb business over the years have installed a number of Orbi networks including more recently a couple of 970 systems. My home previously had a 5 year old Orbi system with 3 satellites and had expectations for better coverage for my home if I upgraded to the 970 system. Big disappointment, similar coverage as the old Orbi system, so I had to go back and purchase a additional satellite (very expensive). Even with 4 satellites I still have some poor coverage areas for my home. For the amount of money the 970 cost, I'm disappointed. If I had to do it all over again, would have just kept my old Orbi system.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have been disappointed with the Orbi 970. I purchased after my previous Orbi system would no longer be suppported. The performance has been much worse than my old system - difficult to connect, will not hold a connection, coverage area is smaller even after purchasing additional satellites - despite the astronomical price. Struggling with this purchase.
The system is up and running great but the netgear orbi says all of my satelites are not connected but they really are because ai have wifi in the remote areas covered by these satelites that are connected by ethernet but the orbi sofware maintains they are not connected and the cameras that are in the area are functiong but just don't show on the orbi sofware. Hopefully netgear gets this issue straightened out. when looking online many people have the same issue and while everything works my ocd tells me the there software doesn't and it annoys me.
