Strong fan, couldn't get Wifi to work

Just had this hood installed last week to replace a 20 yr old Viking fan. Love the 600 cfm capability, though I find a lower speed is more than adequate for most of my cooking. The underside of the hood is flat/horizontal, which makes removing the grease filters very convenient. It also makes the underside easier to clean. The only drawback is that I haven't been able to get it connected via Wifi. I have a dozen other Wifi devices in my home (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) which I had no problems with getting set up. But with this hood, I kept getting a server connection error (H9208). This Wifi issue isn't a dealbreaker for me - just disappointing in an otherwise fine product.
