Poor software experience

Overall, a pretty great laptop for the hardware.
But the software is a major disappointment, everyday my computer freezes, white screen, Samsung galaxy book apps don't work. Such a big disappointment.

I bought this laptop a few months ago. Things I really like:
- the weight of the laptop is great. I can easily pick this up and carry it around (stepping down from a much heavier 17" laptop).
- It's pretty. It has a nice display.
Things I find REALLY disappointing:
- The battery life is nothing like what was promised. Could I use this all day without a charge Not sure; it would go into battery saving mode long before 8 hours were up. Laptops with conventional processors have better battery life.
- The SSD can NOT be removed from the laptop. If it dies, the laptop is toast. I prefer to remove my drive before getting rid of an old computer, and this would not be an option on this laptop.
- Have had trouble getting all the software I want to work on an ARM processor. Norton won't install at all, and my institution refused to support installing the Cisco VPN, although I was able to work around that.

Be warn of the ARM processor

Terrible integration with Galaxy Buds 3 pro

The Galaxy Book 4 Edge is a decently made laptop. I have a lot of other Samsung products and the Book 4 Edge is horrible when it comes to connecting with the buds and some of the other integrations. If you're buying it for that, then forget about it. I would get another brand if you can save money on a similar spec laptop, because you'll have the same functionality as a non Samsung brand, even when using other Samsung devices. You can also get a better track pad with other vendors. I would only buy this brand if it's the lowest cost.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
