No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent Cleaning & Ultra Quiet

First, dishes, glasses, pots, & utensils come out spotless. Three racks provide lots of loading options. And whisper quiet. Had to check it was operating when ran for the first time. Very happy with my purchase.
