Register on line - do not call to register

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a little over a month ago and so far so good. It is noisier than the KitchenAid it replaced. I’m concerned about the longevity of this unit. My last one was 11 when replaced but when I registered this one on the phone (on line process did not work), I was told that the average life span of this model was 3 1/2 years. I was told they don’t build them like they used to. I got irate with the representative saying I never would have bought it had I known that. Turned out that they were more interested in selling an extended warranty than registering the product. I ended the call by telling them i would never buy another Kitchen Aid product again
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best dishwasher for the money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am extremely happy with this dishwasher. It is a perfect mix of features and probably the best bang for your buck out there. For a reasable price you get a stainless tub, as well as optionns like heated drying and sani rinse. It does an EXCELLENT job of cleaning the dishes, and is quite while doing so. Finally, the interior space is laid out well, with the ability to load it up with a large amount of items.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Quiet dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am pleasantly surprised at how quiet this dishwasher is. You can still hear it. Our kitchen and living room where the tv is located is in the same open room. I have had this dishwasher several loads now and I am still trying to get used to how to get my dishes to fit. I can get more glasses and mugs in it than my old one but I can't get all my silverware in the holder and less cereal / salad bowls. There are small holes for who knows what in the silverware tray in the bottom rack, then larger holes that my spoons and forks can fit in. Seems like a waste. I know that since I have the 3rd row machine that I can put stuff up there but why put small holes in the rack? I don't nest my silverware and it is a pain to try to put a utensil in the hole and it not fit. There is nothing to let you know that it is smaller or larger so you have to try all the holes. The dishes are clean mostly. We are trying to stop the prewashing step so that might be effecting the outcome.
The slider on the door to put the soap in is hard to stay closed. I have broken a couple of fingernails trying to get it to close or stay closed. Most of my dishes are the older corelle dishes from probably the 1980's and they just don't fit well.
The buttons on the top are super sensitive. I was drinking a glass of water and a drop of water dripped on the display and it turned on. Doesn't seem to remember the last used cycle, so I have to punch a bunch of buttons to get the type of clean I want.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy install. Super quiet. Dishes coming out clean and dryer than our last dishwasher. Definitely not a low-cost dishwasher but the value is there based on its performance. We like the 3rd rack which gives us more washing space too.

Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m so happy I purchased this dishwasher, it looks great in my kitchen but best of all the interior set up is great. Coffee cups are finally able to set in at an angle so no more water puddling after dry cycle is done. The very best feature however is that it is so quiet I can just barely tell it is running!
