Good So Far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good. Replaced 7-8 year old Kitchen Aide dishwasher with this model. Old washer was leaking badly from the bottom and ruined my oak hard wood floors:( Disappointed the new dishwasher did not come with a power cord. However, it is very quit and has cleaned my dishes very well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Quiet!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very happy with my purchase. I researched extensively and picked this one based on the way I loaded a dishwasher. I like that the third rack is able to load bowls/ cups. It is also very quiet, cleans great. Better than I expected on the quiet meter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We really like it. It is extremely quiet and washes the dishes very well. The third rack is deeper than we expected and is very useful.

Life changing!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are a family of 5 and I am used to running my dishwasher daily. The 3rd rack on this dishwasher opens up SO much more room! The 3rd rack is perfect for sippy cup lids, kids bowls, spatulas and even a 13x9 Pyrex baking dish!! I am always short on space with my old dishwasher for these types of items. The Express wash is just over 1 hour and does a fabulous job. I haven't had a dirty dish come out of it yet (I don't ever prewash). The dishwasher is so quiet, it's hard to tell when it is running unless you are in the kitchen, very near it. The dishwasher racks glide effortlessly.
I can confidently say I won't need to run the dishwasher everyday anymore!
My only 2 complaints that I could think of are the silverware caddy and lack of a countdown timer. My old dishwasher had a flap to close down for tiny items in the silverware caddy. This one has a plastic slider piece for each side. I don't like having to store it and put it on when I need it. It's also difficult to load silverware if I keep it on all the time. I liked the flap where I could partially or fully close tiny items into the caddy. Lastly, the dishwasher indicates what part of the wash cycle it is on, but it does not say exactly how long is left in the cycle. My old dishwasher would show exactly how many minutes were left in the cycle. I will really miss that feature.
Despite my 2 complaints, they are nothing in comparison to how amazing this dishwasher is. I was worried a 3rd rack would make the 1st and 2nd rack very short but I hardly notice a difference. I cannot say enough wonderful things about having a 3rd rack. This is a phenomenal product and I would highly recommend it!!

Cleans like no other

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Do you hear that? Me either. This beauty is as quiet as a library. For it being on the small side the inside of it has quite a big capacity for holding a sink full of dishes. I loved how I didn't have to do a pre rinse before I ran it, it cleaned by dishes the best I've ever seen. I could go on and on about how much I really enjoy this dishwasher. It does everything it claims and more! Everyone should own one to help make their days and life a little easier.

Great dishwasher with amazing features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher is designed to be energy efficient and operates with minimal noise. It has a substantial capacity for dishes and effectively cleans them. I was unaware that KitchenAid produced dishwashers, but this model features an elegant design. However, the top rack can be somewhat challenging to insert due to its contact with the upper spray arm.

Nearly perfect machine
on September 30, 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While this dishwasher is gorgeously designed, quiet, efficient, and has plenty of storage, it does come with two negatives that have knocked it down from five stars to four stars. First, the buttons and timer are on the top of the machine and is, for the most part, completely hidden from view by the countertop. This also makes it difficult to press the buttons while it is shut. The second issue is that it takes an incredibly long time to do a wash. I’ve tried comparable loads at the different levels of cleaning, and the pro wash is the best. That being said, it takes almost four hours to get it completely done, which is a very long time to me, but eh, it does the job. All of this to say, it is an excellent machine , and I am nitpicking because five stars would be given to the perfect dishwasher, and this is only near perfect. Definitely look into it if you are in the market for a new, snazzy, all the bells and whistle machines on the market. The corrugated metal handle was such a fancy and nice touch!

Stylish design and extra space
on October 2, 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I want to start by saying this dishwasher itself is amazing! I love the extra drawer that helps keep the smaller items contained. It's amazing that they were able to provide this extra space with the same general size format of a standard dishwasher. The design is sleek, and i really like the stylized handle. The red sides on the handle weren't my favorite as they didn't match my kitchen, but Kitchenaid made the inserts very easy to remove for the purpose of paint-matching your kitchen. The controls are pretty easy to operate, albeit very sensitive (you can accidentally hit one after making your selection). The unit comes with a fair amount of sound dampening insulation so it helps tremendously with noise levels.
Most of the things that i think could stand improvement relate to the installation itself. The only thing with the dishwasher i think could use is more secure insulation. The way it is loosely covering it makes it conducive to bunching up when being installed in the tight space usually alloted for a dishwasher. When it came to the installation, the unit was delivered on time and with ease. However, the installers refused to utilize my air gap that was installed, choosing to bypass it instead because they didn't have the correct clamp. I even offered one of my own as i keep these type things on hand in my garage, yet they still refused. This led to me having to uninstall and reinstall the drain lines myself to make sure this necessary feature was installed (an air gap ensures there is no backup from a garbage disposal into a dishwasher's drain lines). Fortunately I have the experience to do this on my own. Next, they failed to use the hole drilled through the inner cabinet wall to route my water line, and instead ran it through a cutout for my sink. This led to the water line being stressed and squished between the dishwasher and cabinet instead of laying nicely behind the unit like it should. The buttons/controls for the machine are on the top of the door instead of the front. Nice clean concept, except the installers set the height at the highest level. This placed the controls 1/8 inch away from the countertop making seeing and using the controls impossible. This led to me having to pull the entire unit out to set the legs to proper height. The final mishap of the installers came from their trial run to make sure it all worked. Well, they left the paper tags inside the dishwasher. It took over an hour removing all of the filter screens and flushing the drain lines to remove clumps of wet paper.
All in all, the dishwasher is great. It works fantastically, it looks great in the kitchen i am currently remodeling, and the extra drawer is a fantastic upgrade. The installers could use more training, though.
