Not sure what it is but it just doesn't taste right. I'm fairly sure it's some artificial sweetener or a preservative making it taste like a diet drink and ruins the soda for me. Now I'm stuck with 3 mixes I probably won't be using.

When I first got my soda steam I was disappointed to find out that MTN Dew wasn’t available in the US. Finally it is available and the taste is pretty spot on. I really hope this sticks around.

I love the Mountain Dew Drink Mix I purchased. I love the taste and convenience of making it myself. I live over a store so the stairs are horrendous. Carrying bottles of MD up the stairs is a nightmare for me. I’m 65 and disabled. I had hoped for a long time that MD would become available for the Soda Stream, thank you so so much!!!!

Have tried some of the other branded syrups and they are just a bit off, however once you get the syrup/sparkling water balance here it is just like store bought.

Mtn dew, not what i was expecting

As it looks like the real thing, it tastes nothing like actual mtn dew you would get anywhere, it has a gross after flavor very artificial flavor. I wont buy the mtn dew from now on. Very dissapointed.

Great Dew Option

I have been a Mountain Dew addict for DECADES. I saw a posting about the Sodastream Mtn Dew syrup around the same time regular, bottled Mtn Dew was out of stock at our local stores. After doing some research, I decided to give it a try.
I wanted to get away from High Fructose Corn Syrup, but Real Sugar Dew is no longer available. I was happy to see this syrup uses real sugar.
The taste: I expected a change in taste since I was getting away from HFCS. With the addition of sucralose and acesulfame potassium, there is a bit of "artificial sweetener" taste, but it's not that bad. With around 28% of the calories of regular Dew AND no HFCS... this comes out as a big win for me.
