I recently purchased the EcoFlow Delta 2 Max to use as a Emergency Home Backup in case of power outages here in Florida from Hurricanes or storms. The unit is very well made with 2kWh, expendable to up to 6kWh, it is very quiet unit and has LFP Battery Chemistry. I highly recommend purchasing this unit either for camping or to use as a Home Backup in case of power outages to power your refrigerator, microwave, blender, coffee maker, washing machine, etc. The unit has the latest technology to recharge quickly and has a long lasting time span of about 10 years.

A must have for Campers and Preppers

I am a big proponent of EcoFlow products. Last year I purchased twp Delta Pros, a spare battery for them, the smart panel and smart hub. I planned on taking one of the Pros with me while camping, but instead of lugging over a 100 pond unit all over the place, I saw that EcoFlow now produces all the power I need and the unit weighs half of the Delta Pro so I purchased one: the Delta 2 Max. I have a teardrop camper and I need to power a 5000BTU air conditioner, a 12V fridge/freezer a fantastic fan, etc. With the option of using solar panels or charging from shore power, the Delta 2 Max can be recharged in no time. This is a must have for campers and preppers alike.
I've had my delta 2 max now for 3 weeks and so far I'm loving it. It's a little more heavier than the delta 2 is at around 50 pounds vs 28 for the delta 2 but not to heavy for me to carry it around without a problem. I've used it to power various appliances around my house such as a microwave oven, a convection oven, hotplate, hairdryer, space heater and a room size air conditioner and it's handled everything like a champ! The fans are alot quieter than the delta 2 fans also. The fast charging is nice at around 10% it took a little over a hour to charge to 100%. I love the eccoflow app too! It puts everything you need to know about the unit and what it's powering at your fingertips. Overall it is a great unit with lots of awesome features and works really well for what I use it for. I am well pleased with my purchase and would recommend this product to others who are looking for a portable powerstation.

Pretty good product for on peak power shifting

I got this to help shift my on peak power usage during expensive summer pricing. I have my refrigerator, router, tv, surround sound system, and a few lights plugged into this 24/7 and it powers them no problem. The fans are relatively quiet and the app makes it nice to check info about the unit. My biggest complaint would be solar charging.expect about 50-75 watts to be wasted in ac-dc conversion so if you get 200w solar you are actually only charging about 125-150. Other than that it’s a great unit and charges fast via AC wall outlet. Haven’t taken it camping but it can also be used anywhere since it’s only about 50lbs

I have had a Delta 2 for about a year and when the Delta 2 Max came out I decided to pick one up with the 2 110 watt solar panels. I love the information that the display on all of the Eco Flow power stations provides. It’s extremely useful to understand the wattage used by various appliances.
I was surprised at how much quieter the Delta 2 Max fans were compared to the Delta 2. The fan noise is not a big deal to me but it was nicer to have them so much quieter. The one concern I have is either the capacity of the batteries or the power used by the inverter. I have plugged in a 100 watt light bulb into the fully charged unit. The display shows about 95 watts used but only 16 hours of run time. The actual time was that or even a little less. That would seem to indicate that the batteries don’t have their full capacity or the inverter is using about 20% of the power. I have not yet contacted customer service about this issue.
Overall Eco Flow products have revolutionized backup power for me. The capability of having power with only using a generator to recharge the batteries is great. This is especially true considering the short recharge times of the Eco Flow batteries.
I just used this generator at a craft show for the first time and I love it!!! Easy to charge, easy to start up with just the push of a button. It makes no sound which was very important to me. The only problem I have is that it is very heavy for me. I’m a small female and it’s HEAVY! It needs wheels and a handle so you can pull it.

I purchased the Delta 2 Max as a bundle with two solar panels included. Unfortunately, the solar to XT60 cables to connect the panels to the battery were not included in my shipment. I had to wait for those cables to arrive before being able to charge the battery. I also purchased a Wave 2 air conditioner to be powered by this battery. I did not know that connecting the Wave 2 to the Delta 2 required a proprietary cable. That cable was out of stock on the EcoFlow site, but fortunately I was able to find one on another site.
Once I had all the necessary cables, I was genuinely pleased with the performance of the EcoFlow solar panels and all the charging information available in the EcoFlow app on my phone. In addition to the EcoFlow panels, I had two solar panels purchased from a competitor on the second solar input (that also required an Andersen to XT60 cable, but I was prepared for that). This greatly sped up the process of getting the battery to 100%.
With a fully charged battery and all the necessary cables packed into our camper van, my wife and I were able to test the battery and AC combination. My hope was that the Delta 2 Max would be able to power the AC for two nights in Eco Mode without a recharge, but at the end of the first night, only 20% of the battery capacity was left. Admittedly, it was very hot and humid (80+ degrees at night with 90%+ humidity), and I think under less harsh conditions my two night goal can be achieved.
The Delta 2 battery has enough power outlets to run everything I can fit in my van. I look forward to having this battery along on my camping trips for the next several years. If I do have to up the capacity, it's easy enough to add an extra battery. I just have to remember to order the proprietary cable to go with it.

We recently used our new Delta 2 Max and an extra batter for a Delta Max on a week long camping trip. We ran all of our electronics including a 5000btu window AC on our tiny camper without any issues whatsoever. We have solar on the camper and were able to utilize the 2 solar inputs. We use one from the panels and the second from the DC outlet in the vehicle. Also we charged when need using a small inverter generator. The gray part is that we could charge completely in under 3 hours and run the AC all day for the dogs when it was hot. Without the Delta 2 Max we would’ve been just needlessly running a generator. Lots of features and happy to use this setup for many more years.
