I bought two 65.6ft icicle light sets and they worked great for about five days. The end section on both sets went out on the same day. Two days later on set started working but the other is still out. One day later the section that started working is stuck on its own light display and will not change. Lots of reviews on line with the exact same issue. Sounds like a manufacturing issue as all the reviews have the same section not working.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

partial light is not working. it worked for first couple of days but after that it stopped working

Don’t recommend! Due to the milky white LED’s the colors are faded and are more like pastel colors. They should have used the same LED’s as they did in their Christmas String lights which are clear LED’s. Also the DIY features in the app are extremely limited! You can’t create a strobe/twinkle/sparkle effect on these lights! They don’t allow you to layer and they don’t have the workshop design feature for these lights. I feel this was such a huge failure! Hopefully version 2 is much, much better.

These second gen icicle lights are excellent! Blue tooth connection to my iPhone is rock solid. Wifi has been great too. I especially like that they are dimmable. They can get very bright, but also dim down to a nice soft glow. Easiest to hang icicle lights I’ve ever owned (using GoVee’s included clips). Loads of colors and patterns to choose from. Highly recommend.
The lighting effects and colors are great. The install is easy. However if you have any wind at all in your area I cannot recommend these. I have to get half of them off the roof daily due to a breeze being able to blow the light icicles up and over the roofline. If the had a little more weight to each strand, they would be great. Otherwise a typical good govee product.

After being outside in the rain only half the lights work. I want to return them for a refund.
