Dries great, lint trap is awful

Love the speed and capacity of this dryer, but the lint trap is horrible. Lint collects on the outside of the trap and all around the door seal. If you don’t know to clean the exposed top of the trap before unloading (like my kids), then the lint that collected there gets all over the clean clothes. I am constantly cleaning lint from all over the door and outside of the trap.

We want to give you some cleaning tips for your dryer's lint filter. To clean it, pull the filter straight up and use your fingers to remove the lint from the screen. If you notice a waxy buildup that can happen from using dryer sheets, wash the filter in warm soapy water, rinse it well, and let it dry completely before placing it back in the dryer. If your dryer starts taking longer to dry clothes, vacuum the lint from the filter slot area to help restore proper airflow and performance.

I love everything about my dryer except for the fact you can't (at least I haven't been able to figure it out) how to turn the alert sound up.

The end-of-cycle sound on your dryer cannot have the volume reduced. However, the sound on this model can be turned on/off if you press and hold the Air Fluff/Sound pad on the control panel. We will pass your feedback on this signal along to our product team for review.

Love the huge barrel drys blankets and comforters very well, the lint filter is easy enough and I clean but the insert it goes into is very hard to get clean.

Not safe and not drying

I’m very disappointed with this dryer machine because it has a serious safety problem. The dryer continues running even when the door is open, which should never happen. This is dangerous because clothes keep spinning while the door is open, creating a risk of injury. It also shows poor quality and unreliable performance. It does not dry clothes at all, even after running a full cycle. I expected a safe and dependable appliance, but this has been frustrating and concerning. I would not recommend this dryer based on my experience.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a VERY nice dryer. It really moves a lot of air, which gets clothes dry much quicker. THe lint trap is very efficient and very easy to clean.
