Dries great, lint trap is awful

Love the speed and capacity of this dryer, but the lint trap is horrible. Lint collects on the outside of the trap and all around the door seal. If you don’t know to clean the exposed top of the trap before unloading (like my kids), then the lint that collected there gets all over the clean clothes. I am constantly cleaning lint from all over the door and outside of the trap.

We want to give you some cleaning tips for your dryer's lint filter. To clean it, pull the filter straight up and use your fingers to remove the lint from the screen. If you notice a waxy buildup that can happen from using dryer sheets, wash the filter in warm soapy water, rinse it well, and let it dry completely before placing it back in the dryer. If your dryer starts taking longer to dry clothes, vacuum the lint from the filter slot area to help restore proper airflow and performance.
