Good but I miss the 5L
on January 23, 2021

So I got this new 6L in replace of my 5L from my warranty claim. Kudos to PD's warranty and Customer Support.
About the bag, I find the 6L's material better compared to the previous version. It looks like it will survive more everyday beating. Design wise, it's okay but I'm disappointed they changed the way you can lock the zipper, it still doesn't stand easily on its own, and the slim profile makes the increase in size didn't help on putting in stuff. The 6L also too big for my taste. I kinda regret I asked for a 6L and not a 3L (but the small capacity of the 3L might not make me happy too). For my use case, the 6L is just not the one I need. I will still use it, but not like how I use my 5L v1 where I can put it inside on the top space of my Everyday Backpack and my travel sack backpack. The fact that I didn't pay for it (sort of, as it was a replacement for my v1 5L) just makes this "it's alright".
Don't get me wrong, it's no way a bad bag. It's good - it just really changed from the predecessor.

The perfect sling ?
on January 24, 2021

I purchased the 6l version.
The sling is comfortable, well built and well designed. I'm using a Fuji XT-1 with the 27mm, 50f2 and 16-80 and I still have place for other lenses.
It's a must have if you don't want to bother with a backpack.

Love My Sexy Mobile Studio Transporter
on January 28, 2021

I found myself often not bringing out my gear to shoot a vLogs or social media content because of the hassle, so my 2021 goal was to create an iPhone 12 Max Pro rig to be more mobile.
Currently in 6L Everyday Sling I carry a SmallRig Universal Mobile Phone Cage, DJI OM4 gimbal, Joby GorillaPod (hopefully one day the PD carbon one), tripod extension rod, Rode VideoMic GO, Lume Cube Panel Mini, power bank, wires, lighter, knife, SmallRig Tool Set, pocket grinder, hand lotion, and even more. Im looking to add the Mavic Air 2 and upgrade to the 10L. I actually just keep the bag in my car and not too nervous of that's because it doesn't look like a camera bag.
Great service, great product and it helps an ugly guy like me look sexy. hahaha.
Stay amazing!

A truly versatile camera bag that makes the most of the space
on February 2, 2021

After buying the 3L — and absolutely loving it — I decided to buy the 6L. Both are small, discreet, and compact, with plenty of space for what a bag of their respective sizes should be able to carry.
In the 3L, I'm comfortably able to carry my Canon F-1n, an additional lens, some film, a 3x5 booklet, and some camera accouterments; a lightweight tripod fits cozily at the bottom, and fastening it tightly with the easy-to-use straps means it won't sway behind you.
The 6L — a little larger, though it doesn't feel it — can fit the above, as well as my Rollei (showing how much extra space the extra 3 liters net you). The bag's addition of a tablet pouch is also welcome, as it means you can take your work with you on the go (or a book for the subway).
To that end, the 6L feels more like a day bag where the 3L feels like a project bag. If you know you're only going out to take photos and that you won't need a ton of gear, the 3L is your best bet; if you're going out to take photos AND run errands, do work, or vacation, the 6L presents itself as the much more versatile option — without being imposing.
The one addition I'd love to see in a v3 would be a strap that secures the bag from under the arm (à la "Chrome" bag). When I bend down, the bag will sometimes slip, not by much — and it won't fall off — but enough that it can get in the way. A simple clip under the arm would definitely stabilize it. I also loved the inside color on the v1: Maybe some more options in the future?

Everyday carry
on February 14, 2021

I bought the 6L to replace my big and bulky messenger bag that I used to carry around my camera gear. I am a beginner in the hobby of photography and I just didn't want to carry around something so bulky and uncomfortable. I could not be more than happy with the purchase. Everything that I was able to fit everything in that old messenger bag in the 6L - a bag almost less than half the size!! It also made my carry lighter, maybe due to the ergonomic design, or magic, not really sure. But it made my gear so light that it is comfortable to have it as an everyday carry. Even after having a second lens the bag still weights light and comfortable.
I also love how Peak Design products integrate with each other. I have the Slide Lite for my Nikon Z6. Might get the everyday backpack soon for heavier carry for my astrophotography gear.

Fantastic on the go

I got the 3l sling and love it.
I got it because I have a toddler and I needed to find a way to easily get the camera in and out of my hands without it getting in the way. A strap is just not great when you have to climb after a baby on a play structure and I would constantly just leave the camera somewhere. I have the everyday backpack, which is great but I don't want to wear it on the playground.
This is perfect - I can quickly tuck the camera away and have space for other items like sippy cup and snacks for the baby :-) It doesn't get in the way and I think it looks very nice, too. I can fit my small mirrorless (Fuji XT20)plus a small zoom (18-55mm) and a small prime (35mm) and have room to spare.
My only drawback is that the front pocket is a bit too tight to fit my phone (Samsung s10). It kinda fits but it's super hard to get in and out so I don't bother.
