The quality of it is inconsistent in some parts, but the functionality and look is amazing.

`The Lexus' of travel gears

A very well thought sling bag design. Small little design considerations that sets it apart from other competitors. PD bags are like the Lexus of bags. Lexus' philosophy of Kaizen is very apparent in their travel gears design language.

3L Every Day Sling:
on February 7, 2020

Have used this bag for the past month and have found it a nice compact size to carry my camera on every day trips around town. Previously I had just packed my camera over my shoulder but found I was banging it around. This bag is very well constructed although a bit tight for getting my camera out and back in. Weather has no effect on it and it's comfortable to wear. Just big enough for the essentials.

Slings are kings but why no Blue for 10L

So I've had the original 10L sling, the 5L sling and now the 6L sling. The originals were great and they made the new even better. The two zip is great and helps with keeping things closed and getting access faster. The stretch pockets that it has are great now. The external carry for the 6L is great. The strap seems even more comfortable which is good. I think this is the perfect bag for camera, tablet, book, and a lens. I shoot the Canon R so if I had the book tablet and extra lens I would use the Capture clip. but still its not bulky or bad. it can fit a whole lot of stuff in the 6L compared to the 5L so if you want more but think 10 is too big get the 6L. I just wish they had midnight blue in the 10L I would probably get that as well if it was in the midnight Blue

6L V2 sling vs 5L V1 sling and the huge benefit of an extra liter of space
on February 10, 2020

I have the Peak Design 5L sling and it is fine for my DSLR with a short lens (35mm) and some small essentials. I love the everyday sling because it is a nice looking bag that does not look like a camera bag. I did miss having the ability to carry a longer lens too (and that front compartment on the 5L is near useless), but I did not want anything as big as the 10L (anything that large and potentially heavy with gear and I might as well use my backpack). With a recent upgrade to mirrorless I bought the 6L to see what it could fit. I was really pleased that adding just one liter was enough to fit my Nikon Z7 with 24-70mm 2.8 S lens attached (hood on backwards) AND a 70-300mm F-mount (hood on backwards) with the F-to-Z adapter attached to the lens. The fit is perfect; I can still zip and unzip with one hand and I still have room for small essentials -iphone, wallet, spare batteries, small squeeze air blower and one lens filter. The fact that the bag stands perfectly upright when set down is wonderful.
The only complaint I have is the strap padding. It changes position when the straps are shortened/lengthened and so if it is adjusted to fit on the shoulder in one length the padding moves and is off the shoulder in another length. I have had to adjust it so only a quarter of the padding is on my shoulder in either the long or short length but it is comfortable enough.
Other than that it is the perfect low-key camera bag.

This bag ! The everyday sling in the 6l is such a great bag . I have a full frame Sony . It can handle my camera with one lens attached. Or my camera body with 2 lenses . Depending on size of the lenses within reason. Also very padded and extremely weather proof . Definitely recommend this bag and other products I have bought from peak design.

6L- MIDNIGHT BLUE

Overall is good. There are 2 weak points:   . The front compartment is not really useful, it's too narrow.   . The front zipper becomes convex and ugly, even without its contents.
