I really appreciate the organization in the back pack. Mostly use it as a tech backpack for school. I carry a 16 inch mbp and a 11inch tablet, portable ssds, as well as necessary chargers for all devices all just in the laptop compartment. The only design wish I have is for a additional quick access pocket other than the one up top. Also the serial number was in a hard to read place. And 5e dividers are tricky to adjust, but once adjusted you can forget it.

Amazing bag with 1 caveat for broader people.

This bag has amazing capacity and a bunch of different ways you can store things (a lot of things). I do wish the inner dividers has a velcro friendly coating so I cant stick extra bits to them for even more convenience.
The caveat. I'm 6ft5, so naturally a little broader than most. Due to the swivel on the shoulder pads, the pads do not sit flat on my shoulders, meant the weight isnt dispersed so it's not super comfortable. This is why I havent given 5 stars.

Wonderful, Only Two Negatives.

Why do I give a 5star review to a product I have hardly used? Because for the duration of a summer of wonderful weather, I was daily seduced by the Peak 10L sling even though I had to edit my stuff down to the minimum. Now that the weather has shifted I find I am using my 30L bag all the time and very happy. In fact my appreciation grows each time. I've set up the velcro dividers at the bottom so my Olympus EMD Mark III is on top for quick side access with 2 or 3 lens below the shelf or accessible from the other side leaving the top free for gear. Although the straps look somewhat thin and with minimal padding I have found them to be ergonomically extremely comfortable even when I just have it slung on one shoulder. When wearing on two shoulders it makes the packed bag feel lighter than it is. I always like to have a small pocket at top for quick access to wallet, advil etc. and at first I was sad the Peak doesn't have this but - how clever - if you open the back zipper where the computer goes there is a top pocket so one zipper gives you access to both. The small, almost invisible slot at the bottom designed for quick access to extra straps is quite sneaky. A good place to keep my stash, if I had one. The two negatives: 1. At 4.5 lbs the bag is a bit heavy compared to my 2.5 lb. Timbuk2. The price you pay for all the padding and pockets etc. but it can quickly feel quite heavy (helped by the comfy straps noted above). 2. The Mag Latch Top can be problematic. When trying to extend the capacity it can be hard to close since it is stiff and doesn't bend. But the real issue is that own a typical pack you can leave the top open and quickly reach in and out of it. You can't fold the Mag Latch back so it stays open. This is particularly awkward when you are trying to carefully pack your items. You pretty much need to dedicate one hand to keeping the top open when I want two hands to grab items and move others around. The same with side access to a lesser degree. The stiff material often requires one hand keeping it open while the other roots around doing what it has to do. 3. (I know I only said 2 but this is unofficial since I may be wrong) Unlike the sling bag which has a perfect place for the capture clip, the only good place here seems to be high up on the strap and it is not as easy to quickly release and grab your camera. But in the final analysis, it always feels good to be wearing and using this Peak Design bag.

Added the everyday backpack to my kit of many PD bags (I have 4 other bags/slings) and it is just as great as all of the others. The quality of PD products is simply the best.
