I love this!! Really does fit all the gear I need in an organized way. The structured shell of the bag keeps everything protected and the top latch and side doors let me reach everything easily.
This is the most comprehensive Camera bag I've ever seen and used. It's so easy to organise the gear inside with variable methods to arrange them when you need. It kind of an ultimate bag you would only need. Love it since the day I got it. Super efficient and friendly customer service. Love Peak Design!
This is a great bag but in my opinion there are a couple of things missing. The straps that hold items to the outside of the bag and the chest strap are very stiff and awkward to use (I've only had the bag for two weeks so maybe they'll loosen up). The inside side pockets are too small to be useful and I preferred V1 where there was a zip. The top opening has 4 different sizes but the biggest two are hard to use because of how stiff the lid of the bag is (again I think this will loosen with time.) I really wish it came with a hip belt given I bought it for hiking but I know that's a personal preference and you can buy a separate one. It can be difficult to find a good place to put the Capture Clip on the shoulder straps if you are tall like me so I would try a bag on before buying it. If this bag was 35L I think it would be the perfect size for hiking (with 3 zoom lenses, 2 bodies and hiking equipment). It only comes with 2 dividers but they are both the type with a shelf. It's a pretty awesome bag but not quite perfect for me.
Had (and loved) my V1 of 2 years until the zipper popped off the track. Took it into the store and it was immediately swapped with a V2. The comfort and storage improvements they've made were immediately discernible; I'm very happy!
I received my Everyday 30L in late October. Took a trip to the south Oregon coast for its first run. I like that it will stand up on its own, and the side access while still being carried worked well in the sometimes sandy conditions. I think I may experiment with the inside panel dividers, however, the bag held all the gear I normally carry with room to spare. I just need to customize to my perfection. The build quality and attention to detail is second to none. It is obvious that a good deal of design thought has gone into this bag. One thing I would like to see incorporated into all bags is some kind of slide-out, retractable, stiff plastic sheet, somewhat like a camping cutting board. This would be very useful for setting a lens on when changing lenses, instead of setting them on the ground. I gave the bag 4 stars but it may rate five after I have had more experience with it. Love it. Great work guys! Dale
I was never much of a back-pack person, but the kit I started needing got to the point where this became necessary. This bag is amazing. There are a new little features or new ways of using it that I still discover when I spend time with it. It has so many pockets hidden away in places that I get afraid of using them in the risk I will forget they are there.
