I've been looking for this bag for a long time. For years I would carry two bags - one for work and one for my camera and lenses. This is the first bag I've found that can perform both roles and then some. Also, traveling through airports in a secure and efficient way is a must for me and this bag performs perfectly. From the office to the airport to hikes for wildlife photography, I take this bag everywhere I go, everyday. It's a rugged bag and the dividers are really well designed. They don't feel cheap and sag like the dividers in other bags I've had. Anyway, nice work, I've recommended your products to my friends. I always look forward to seeing the new products you release. Thank you!
This bag is exceptionally high quality. From the design to the materials it is everything I expected and more. Quality is top tier. Speed of getting my camera out, amazing.
I have noticed some small things about the bag I just wanted to let yall know.
1) Maybe have some way to tuck/wrap the tightening straps while in use? I know lots of cheaper bags have like ties etc. so that tightening the straps doesn't leave a ton of slack that gets dirty.
2) The tablet sleeve is great, but if you have any kind of smooth case on it and/or a computer in the bag, it is impossible to get out. it is very tight, but because of that I have to take out my computer/empty the bag in order to pull out the ipad, due to the recessed nature of the sleeve under the zipper. Its a small thing but in colder weather it scrapes up your hands pretty good on the zipper, especially if you are reaching in over and over again. Maybe like a pull tab or something to help pull it out, im not sure.
3) Maybe slightly stronger magnets on the straps/back to hold them when wheeling a suitcase? Not usually a problem, but they do catch when I'm traveling around tight spaces.
Just a little feedback from me, you guys make great bags and your customer service is the one of the best, thanks.
Ok, just start off. I never review stuff unless its beyond crappy or beyond amazing. I've had the Everyday Backpack (30L) for a few months now without any ups or downs, until last night. I bike to and from work once a week and as luck would have it, got caught in a torrential downpour. I carry my Mac and iPad in the bag and was sweating bullets (or maybe it was rain, idk) thinking about how ruined they were. The whole outside of the backpack was completed soaked, but the inside was completely bone dry. Buy this bag, your wallet will thank you later.
Such an awesome backpack. So versatile. Use it everyday for work, carrying my lunch, gym gear, laptop and general extras. There are so many useful elements, I keep finding new ways to maximise my space. Epic backpack. Would highly recommend
I'm a total backpack snob. For years I've been plagued by bags with giant compartments and no organization. This bag checks so many boxes for me. the team at PD are great. The bag is made with fantastic quality. the storage organization is fantastic, modular, and ingenious. I can hold a tremendous amount of gear for the size of this bag, and the most important part is I can find it all quickly when I need it. Gone are the days of digging through my backpack looking for that one tiny thing that's bouncing around in the compartment. Love this bag, will keep it until it dies and buy a new one, but I don't think that's going to happen anytime soon.
I kind of want two of these. I purchased mine to be a photography bag that fits all the gear I'd want to take out at once on any trip.
I can comfortably fit my Fujifilm X-T3 + 4 lenses, along with a tech pouch in the top. Took some trial and error to arrange into a configuration that works for me, but the dividers that come with the bag are the best I've ever dealt with, very versatile.
The materials are fantastic. Went on a short hike this past weekend and got caught in the rain, and everything inside was protected. Some mud/dirt got onto the outer shell, but was very easy to get off with a small amount of water and a cloth.
Overall I'm just extremely happy with this thing, looking forward to using it on future trips when things begin to open back up.
I bought the 20L to carry camera gear plus lunches and water bottles for the family. It is perfect so far. Everything is solidly made. The design is very clever and maximizes the space.
I've had this bag about two months and have only been taking it out and using it one month. Part of the reason I bought this bag instead of a cheaper alternative was because it looked good, enough to bring to the office once things open up. Well, the bag already looks a mess.
The fabric is some kind of chalkboard fabric that attracts dust and the black coating on the hardware is almost completely gone in some places. I don't understand. At first I thought it was just scuffs that would wipe off but they don't wipe off even with soap and water. Friends have come up to me and said “why is your bag so dirty?” And “you need a new bag!” - I've been using it A MONTH!!!
I have a DJI mavic air 2 bag of similar material that I have been taking out for a year and it still looks brand new, this is a peak design problem. If you know the coating chips off the hardware - why use that coating? Couldn't you leave it the natural color? The whole point of this product (I thought) was longevity and durability. I bought the black color specifically because I didn't want it to show wear, it looks like a 5 year old bag. I have no doubt it will still be functional long into the future but it looks awful.
