Solid backpack. With a small camera kit you need to do some hacks with the dividers to make it work.

I love PEAK DESIGN and all of the ten or so items I have purchased and used daily. The quality and functionality of every product have been great until I recently purchased the Everyday Backpack. I have tried for over a month to arrange the bag in a manner where I felt my expensive camera and lens were well protected but with no success. All of the videos were convincing and I even purchased individual foam covers for my expensive prime lens, but even that didn't give me the proper fit or confidence I expected. The bag is very well made and the design concept appeared in line with all of the other PEAK DESIGN items I have purchased and love, however, protecting over 7K of equipment (especially prime mirrorless lens) requires more than this bag offers. The buyer's remorse led me back to a new Pelican Case that even holds my PD Tripod and the other great PD items I have purchased. I did put a PD sticker on my new Pelican.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Really cool bag that just isn't very comfortable

I was eyeing the PD Everyday Backpack for a long time, and ended up pulling the trigger on the 30L variant, which I've now been using for about 3 months, both for everyday carry and on a several trips. To be clear, the build quality is top notch, the organization and storage is awesome, and it has a bunch of thoughtful features (like shoulder straps that stick to the back via magnets when not in use). Unfortunately for me, however, the bag just isn't comfortable to wear, particularly when I have a little weight in there. Unlike other premium backpacks I own/have used, the back of the PD bag is super rigid and flat, so it just doesn't "hug" my back comfortably.
For context, I usually always keep my MacBook Pro 13", iPad Pro 12.9, a PD Tech Pouch, and a Sony RX100, in the bag, so it's not like it's super heavy, but it def has some weight to it. Also, I'm 5'10" and weight ~200lbs. Even after just wearing it around the airport when travelling, it just really fatigues my back. Another "feature" that I feel is subpar is the sternum strap, although if it were the only issue, it certainly wouldn't be a deal-breaker - I would much prefer your standard (albeit less sexy) clip for the sternum strap (even if I could buy it as an add on).
Obviously YMMV, and it may fit you perfectly, but if you are considering wearing this backpack for long stretches of time, it may really be worth trying it on before purchasing.
I hope that PD's next version of this bag makes some improvements to it's ergonomics!

Perfect park bag for WDW!

We bought a 30L Everyday Backpack to be our park bag for a Disney World trip, and we could not be happier with our decision. The shell kept all of our gear dry during Florida summer storms. The side zippers made accessing the various compartments a breeze - and with younger kids, we were in and out of the pack constantly. The bag never felt too heavy or uncomfortable, and I really appreciated the included chest strap to help keep the pack tight and secure on my shoulders. I highly recommend this bag to anyone looking for a do everything pack for a Disney trip.

Amazing in every detail

I was first made aware of peak design not long ago and ordered the tech pouch, as soon as I saw, felt, and experienced it I knew I had to gave more. The amount of thought that goes into each piece of their gear is quite literally unbelievable. This backpack feels great to the touch, is so comfortable to wear and has endless options for how to use it. The zippers, pockets, and magnetic closures are all precisely where you need them. Trust me it is indeed the best backpack out there.

I've never thought I would spend this much on a backpack but I must say it was worth everything. I love this bag, it is very well designed and feels very durable. It'll sure last me for many years to come. Thank you brother's and sister's from Peak, much love and many blessings.

V1 was great. V2 is a major upgrade. So much better. Everything about this is delightful. Looks great. Works great. Organizational features are second to none. They've really thought through every little detail.
