One of the most well-thought-out bags I've ever used.

I've been writing bag reviews and content for a while. In that time I've always wanted an Everyday Backpack. When my daughter was born, I had an excuse to get one. The hype is totally justified. The Everyday Backpack is one of the most feature-rich and well-thought-out bags I've ever used, and I've used at least forty bags in the last two years. For my use case, it's fantastic. Having multiple access points is stellar, multiple handles to grab it from is very convenient, and the aesthetics of it can take you anywhere from offices and restaurants to forests and beaches. Pocketing is clever and placed perfectly, isolated laptop compartment is stellar, magnets to keep shoulder straps in place is inspired, and so much more. Honestly, the only downside is that the shell doesn't have a ton of give, which is a minuscule downside, but it's understandable because it protects what's inside and keeps its shape whether full or empty. If you're on the fence about it, do it.
This is a beautiful bag, it's brilliantly an intelligently made. It looks great, is practical, and the perfect size. It works on long trips and is yet small and light enough for everyday carry. Typically I carry my 16' Macbook pro, 11' iPad Pro with magic keyboard, and all my camera gear and lenses. But here is the one downside. My camera is small - a Canon M50 - and when it's in the bag ready for side access its bouncing around. Realistically it's safe, as are the lenses, but it worries me a bit, I'm afraid that when I open it, this camera, that has been rattling around, will fall out.
My solution has been to use the 3L sling in the top for the camera and my most often used lenses. This keeps them safe. Moreover, when I'm travelling I can leave the 30L in the hotel and pop out with just the 3L. It's perfect! So it's two bags in one. One for heavy carry with everything (and I mean everything, I bring my podcast mic and Focusrite solo, all my tech etc) and then the 3 L sling in the top for when I'm travelling light.
Love my 20l backpack (in black). -1 star for strap webbing that dangles when pulled taut - I wish the bag came with some sort of clip system to hold the webbing in place after adjustment. Otherwise a near-perfect experience!
Have never found a bag so well designed. I really love it. It swallows up a ton of stuff. I plan to use this as my day bag so I can carry my daily work stuff but keep my camera (5d Mkiii) and an extra lens and some equipment with me as well. I think my only suggestion would be that some maybe like zipper mesh or something would be nice on the side openings internally to keep stuff from falling out when opening them if you don’t have things packed tightly, but it’s not a very big deal. The bag is great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've been using this bag for almost 6 months. First impression, build quality is good. Once looking in the inside, the amount of possible customization of inner partition is just perfect. I use this bag literally for everyday use to my office and sometimes for light traveling (3D 2N) and this bag able to carry everything I need. And the DWR coating is very good. As a people who live in a country with lot of rains, it really helps.
Hi, I am a filmmaker and seasoned photographer. I heard good things from some colleagues about this bag. I had the competition's rival bag for a while which I loved but their stock is unavailable for months. I chose this to be the best alternative and hoped would surpassed my last bag but so far, the results have been underwhelming. The bag looks great with a minimalist design however I feel that the material used to produce the bag is rather disappointing. The material easy gathers dirt and dust which is embarrassing. I will keep the bag for the time being until I'm able to repurchase another bag that fits my needs. The outside pockets do not fit my travel tripod therefore is highly annoying. It's not a true black color. For the price, I rwas hoping I could truly just have a backpack that could carry my things in 21L. I do love the brand overall and the amazing innovations they have but this bag isn't it for me.
I really love the bag, my only gripe is the laptop section is too tight to open when my 15.5 in laptop is in the pocket. I want to use both the laptop pocket and the pockets at the top in the same section. It is just when they are in use it is really tight to get anything in that section.
