It’s been quite the journey, but look how far we've come, my camera-loving companion. We might have taken the long way, but we always knew we'd get there someday. They said, "I bet they'll never make it," but here we are, defying the odds.
This bag is the one I run to, the one that I belong to. With its versatile design and thoughtful features, it’s still the one I want for life. From its customizable dividers to its weatherproof construction, it's still the one that I love. It's the only one I dream of when it comes to carrying my gear.
And at the end of the day, when the sun sets and it's time to pack it all in, this bag is still the one I kiss goodnight. I'm so glad we made it, my trusty Peak Design Everyday Bag. Look how far we've come, my baby. Together, we're still going strong.

Truly two bags in one

I purchased the 30L everyday backpack a few weeks ago. I have converted it to be my everyday backpack I carry daily. Before it was a hassle to remember to pack my camera, but now I always have it with me and use it more often. I love being able to access anything in the bag without having to take it off. Highly recommend purchasing in conjunction with the camera clip. It’s so much better than your camera bouncing on a strap as you walk all day. I’d recommend the hip belt accessory as an add on for the 30L. When you have it fully loaded, it transfers the weight to your hips and takes pressure off your shoulders. I just leave mine attached all the time, push up the straps up out of the way when I don’t need them.

My favorite travel photo bag

After 25 years of lugging cameras for work, this is now my go-to bag, holds way more gear than I could've imagined, and is packed with so many cool features. One 8 day international trip down and an upcoming trip to the desert, and worked flawlessly from an urban environment to 2112m up in the Alps.

The best camera/everyday bag I've ever used.

I bought the V1 back in 2019, and never looked back. It was a big investment for me, but it served me well and I genuinely did use it everyday for camera gear and a 16inch macbook pro, spanning multiple continents. After 5 years one of the zips finally gave out on me. I was devastated, until I read somewhere about their lifetime warranty. Within 30min Peak Design had a new V2 replacement bag shipped to me free of charge. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Near perfect

I think this is a 4.5-star bag, but I wasn't able to leave that rating. Very smartly designed with nice amounts of compartments. The side zip is priceless, I don't think I can use another backpack.
The two issues I have may be due to my size. I'm 6' 6" and when I use the chest strap to pull the two backpack straps together, it cuts almost across my neck. And when I wear the backpack for long periods of time with any weight, the sides of the backpack straps start rubbing into the sides of my chest. I'm considering trying the larger size to see if it will work.

Best backpack I've ever owned

I have been a user of PD products, since the first camera capture (which I still have) and have been interested in the bags since the V1 came out.
Recently as my last laptop backpack started falling apart, I realized it was time to get something, but not another bag that would fail within a year or two. I was also hopeful that the bag I would choose would work to transport camera/video gear for city walks and small video shoots on-location. (I have a nice messenger bag, but it's limited in space and hard to carry for a long time).
I admit that I was put off by the cost of the Everyday bag for a long time, so I asked anyone I saw with one what they thought, and the ONLY regret one person had was they should have picked the 30L over the 20L. So, coupled with my experience with other PD products, I ordered the 30L Everyday bag V2 (along with the belt and tech pouch).
When it arrived, I was VERY impressed with the attention to detail, not just in manufacturing (which was to be expected at this price), but in design. All the little features (such as magnetic closures, expandable side pockets, laptop pouch, zipper choice, straps, etc, etc) added up to a huge WOW factor.
I can say that as someone willing to save longer for a better product, this bag is worth the cost (and wait).
My only suggestion would be to include the belt; this bag, loaded with camera gear and a laptop can be heavy and a belt is important (in my opinion) to transfer the weight from my shoulders to my hips.
Another note, if you are looking for a hiking camera bag, this is not the bag. Instead get a great hiking bag (such as an Osprey), a capture clip, and a camera cube. This is a better solution for long hikes (better IMO than a the hiking camera bags out there).
