This bag is well crafted and clever--but ultimately not a camera bag. The origami dividers, which are perfect in top-loaders like the Sling, leave the equipment rattling around in the backpack no matter how carefully they're configured. I also can't get over the strange placement of metal zippers on the interior of the side flaps right where the camera display or lens would sit. It's ultimately not really a camera bag, even if it would be a great bag for other purposes. I ended up sending it back.

This is one of the most well thought out and cleverly designed pieces of gear I have every owned. Kudos to the design team who have covered almost all of the bases with innovative features, ease of use in a multifunction backpack. I have found it comfortable to wear, practical, and easy to organize. When I got the email with the link to a 30 minute product video I was thinking, who needs a 30 minute video on a bag. Well, there are so money features on this bag I never would have found, I am glad I watched.

Overly impressed with this bag, I wanted 'on the go' access without putting my bag down, something to travel with me everyday. I did my research on competitive products. the bag is higher priced than most but I received a high quality bag... I'd buy it again without a second thought. One of the best designed and made products I've purchased in a long while.

Blown Away - This Bag is Amazing

I bought this bag last week just before traveling to Moab to shoot. For the price, I was expecting it to be comfortable, functional and able to accommodate all of my gear - and it satisfied all those expectations 100%. What blew my mind was its durability and toughness. Part of our trip included some mud. The red mud in Moab stains everything. It ruined everything I was wearing and it's even hard to get off your skin. Needless to say, my bag was covered in it. To make things worse, I let it dry on the bag and waited 4 days before washing it. When I got home, I threw it in the bathtub, sprayed it down and scrubbed it with a soft brush. I was amazed. Completely spotless and still dry inside! Way to go Peak Design, amazing product.

Love this backpack! The thorough videos PeakDesign provides explain it better than I ever could. Beautiful and sturdy; smartly engineered - I especially love that I don’t have to remove the backpack from my shoulder to access my camera and lenses with the side zipper. I also love the adaptability and being able to reposition or even remove the dividers.
