I travel frequently and am done with checking my bags. My other carry on begs are too heavy for me at 5’ tall 107 pounds. Everything about this bag appeals to me, lightweight material, so many little places to store things. I’m 68, and I’m traveling often. Next stop Costa Rica!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this backpack mostly for traveling. However I have used it also for ski-touring and hiking as I haven't took any different backpack for vacation. After few hours I would say all features are useful. Great thing it that it keeps its shape and always looks good. Some reviews says it is heavy. It is, but it comes with all features and ways of opening it. I have used all four sides for access, what is perfect to find exactly what you need. Also it is really comfortable, even more than other outdoor backpacks I have. After 5 hours I haven't feel any discomfort.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great travel backpack. I've started using it to carry baby supplies onto the plane - compartments are super helpful.
Only downside is the buttons to shrink the backpack from 45L to 30L doesn't hold very strongly, so it unsnaps frequently. I also wish the shoulder straps had more padding
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great bag, but not "PEAK" design.

Before I go on, I absolutely love this bag, but I'd probably love it more if I hadn't gotten use to the quality of my everyday back pack.
I got my 45l for Christmas and immediately used it for a 5 day trip and it worked great. It it's very versatile and can carry more than you think with all the packing tools!
I write this review because the quality and attention to detail is not here like it was on your earlier products. The quality of the 45l doesn't compare to the quality of my 20l that I got last Christmas. The shoulder straps aren't as comfortable, the outer layer feels thin and like it could tear easy, and the zippers aren't as nice.
I love my 45l but it doesn't feel like the bag I was expecting it to be.. :(

My perfect bag!

So far, I've taken this bag on 2 week long trips, and a handful of other 1-3 day trips and it has performed perfectly in every scenario I've thrown at it. The first thing I will mention is that I always pack it out with at least the small camera cube. For one of the week long trips, I took a medium cube packed fully with camera gear, and all the necessary clothes/toiletries/etc for a week away and while it was a tight squeeze, I was able to make it work!
The most pleasant surprise about this bag has been how well it fits on domestic flights in the US. I've been able to stash it underneath the seat when the overhead is full, it fits in overheads EASILY. I've taken it on the small turbo prop planes (Saab SF340) and it fit nicely in the overhead (sideways of course). I've taken it on the larger (think ATR 72) and while it probably could've fit in the seat in front of me, it got stashed in the overhead easily!
I love this flexibility because I do not want to have to gate check my one bag with my expensive camera gear, laptop, tablet, etc. and risk it being lost or damaged.
Even with the relatively heavy loads I carry around with all of the gear inside, the straps are super comfortable. The HUGE side pockets are just killer, you can literally put anything in them. Because of the zip down back access to the camera compartment, I have taken to using this in the buttoned down mode when I take my full camera kit somewhere. It's basically replaced my everyday bag!

Great travel bag

This bag has so far met all my needs during my travels. I've used it as my primary personal bad when flying and have also used it on a 1-3 day trips. I have yet to try to put it under my seat on a flight, but it fits great in the overhead compartment. Love how the straps can be tucked away so that it doesn't get snagged or caught on anything when not in use. All the pockets are useful and the side pockets fits my large hydro flash without any issues. Overall very comfortable no matter the load. I've gotten the backpack a bit dirty and haven't attempted to clean it yet. Supposedly it's easy to clean with a wet rag, but I haven't tried yet. The major issue I had was that the sternum strap kept coming loose. Eventually the time I didn't pay attention to it when it was store away on the shoulder strap, I lost the sternum strap. I'll have to replace it by purchasing a new one.

Everyday Use

I have the everyday backpack for my camera stuff and love it. I had a disaster with another (who will not be named) manufacturer's bag for my work use, so then took the plunge and ordered this, a tech, packing cubes and just to cap it off the medium camera cube. It is so versatile for everyday use, but for a short travel with the cubes, or if I refashion it I can get all my camera stuff in it for a big shoot. It is great quality. And to get away from the blacks and charcoal, I went all Sage this time and it is growing on me! Really recommend this: it will last for ages.

Versatile and flexible

I just got back from a 10 day trip to Maine using the travel backpack as my only bag. I carried a mirrorless camera, a full sized tripod and enough other stuff for the entire trip. The bag fit into every overhead compartment, even on a relatively small jet where people with roller bags had to check them. While in Maine, I used the bag as my camera bag while hiking in the mountains or traveling through Portland. Being able to snap it down to smaller profile was nice. Its a little big, but not too bad. It left space for rain gear and a heavier jacket. The front compartment was very convenient for accessing small items during travel and the side access for the camera was obviously useful as well. The waist strap isn't the best, but it was good enough while hiking. The fastener on it, though, could stand improvement. Overall I would highly recommend this pack. It is as good as advertised.
