Beautiful and well constructed backpack. The magnetic features improve the feel and quality, as well as the accessibility of the pockets. The only qualm I have is that some of the zippers are tough to zip and unzip but I think this is a result of the weather proofing, so a fair trade to make.

I have been traveling as a photographer for over ten years and have thrashed many camera bags. So far this is the most functional bag I have used! I don't have any doubts it will hold up to my abuse to it. Thanks Peak for the legit gear!

If you are like me you have been searching for the ultimate work/photography travel bag your whole life., I have a dozen bags in the attic that have failed the test. Just received the Peak Design bag for Christmas, haven't taken a trip yet (multiple scheduled in the next couple of months) but the PD travel bag sure looks like it will meet the test. Love the ability to just drop in a camera cube and I'm ready to roll, will save me ton's of packing time. My fingers are crossed

Although it's my favorite bag based on what's currently available, I have a few recommendation for v2.0. I've used this bag since last December when release from kickstarter for my trips (ex: Hong Kong, Japan, South korea, London, and Paris).
Recommendation: 1. two side zippers for side opening 2. internal pockets like v2.0 of everyday backpack sides 3. fabic lining for sides so you can have velcro dividers when you do not want to use modular parts 4. adjustable straps for the large back opening so stuff does not fly out when opening it. 5. large pockets for the back section of the laptop / ipad compartments. allow more organization 6. larger opening for laptpo b/c it does not fit 15" dell alienware m15 r2 7. more loops on the sides so that you can use your strap to compress the backpack to make it even smaller (thickness) 8. more loops on the front so you can use strap many different ways to attach stuff on the outside 9. change the button latch reduce it to 35L. it doesn't stay close when you access the compartments. 10. modify the top handle b/c when you grab it, the backpack reacts in a way where the top cause a big cavity. 11. change the zipper loops for all them to have security loops 12. make the pass thru for luggage to be wider

Sleek, Durable, Pocket Heaven!

Got this travel backpack after A LOT of research for a 3-month study abroad trip in Europe. I was looking for something with hip straps for walking around cities and airports. This bag is perfect. It feels high quality and has been super durable so far (one month in). Zippers, magnets, and pivoting straps have worked smoothly, and I absolutely love how they've laid out the pockets and access points. I pack pretty light, so it was big enough to hold everything I need in addition to a small backpack and extra duffel bag for souvenirs. I took it as a carry-on and plan to check it on the flight back home. I even used the consolidated version (35 liters) for a weekend trip to Florence, and it worked perfectly! The only thing I wish was different is the chest strap, which clips on and off. I'd prefer to have it anchored onto the bag so I don't have to worry about it falling off, but it's no biggie. Thanks for a great bag - so sleek!
