The beauty, the build and the overall comfort that this bag has to offer really thrown me off, the improvement and versatile design that fits everyday use and even travelling is just out of this world. The organization it has to offer are just amazing and both the waist and the shoulder strap has been improved since the EDB. Usually, I had it in compressed mode but during my trip to Japan, and some part of Taiwan, I find the expansion is so useful when I stuff in souvenirs, jackets, my camera etc. What a monster bag and I barely felt fatigue after a full day carry of over 8kg item in the bag. I've been carrying my EDB for almost a year, and I was satisfied but this, I am recommending it to all who seeks the ultimate bag

For me, the best travel bag by far

This bag is brilliant. The attention to detail and brilliant features make this bag the ideal one bag solution. I've looked for ages and spent money on other alternatives including the Goruck GR2 and Aer Travel Pack (which I've now sold) but this backpack beats them all in my opinion. You get multiple ways of gaining access to your stuff, have the ability to expand should you need and you can unzip internal pockets to make a larger area inside should you require. Another bonus is the external straps which you can attach to the numerous attachment points to carry additional gear. I can definitely recommend this bag to anyone and if you're having reservations about the price I would say you get what you pay for so make the investment, you won't be disappointed.

Great bag, a little heavy

Way to many great features to list here, the features of the bag are almost _too_ clever. Highlights are the easy stowage of the backpack straps and hipbelt. Love the handles everywhere and the main compartment opening, the theft-deterence details.
Low lights are definitely the weight and complexity. Would love a version that's a little simpler (4 ways to open it is a little excessive for non-photo uses) and weighs half as much.

Best 45L I had on my back, ever

I'm not a photographer and I don't need many of it's photog-centric (optional) customizations or enhancements.
I do however carry a lot of stuff around with me for weekends away (both short and long range trips from home). This is definitely my favourite backpack in its size and volume class.
The material is durable, the straps are ace, the design of each small component makes sense and instils confidence when I use it. I love the way it looks (big but unassuming). It can withstand a bit of abuse and handles really well in unexpected situations.
I have packed it in several different configurations with various loads and it hasn't disappointed me yet.
Great for travelling, great for casual strolls around the city, very handy for larger grocery shopping trips, and very helpful if your hobbies require carrying bulky or heavy stuff around.

Well build, heavy, not good as duffel bag

I'm not a protographer, So I don't really have many gears. I used it for a short international trip (3-4 days).
- This bag is well built. I feel like it has an even better material and build than Peak Everyday Backpack. However, that comes with the heavy weight; it's heavy even when empty. When I used pass-through function and put it above another carry-on luggage, the carry-on can't handle the weight and size and tip over easily. - Size is another thing. If you travel to a crowded place like Hong Kong, this huge bag can be too clunky and hit all over the place. - It's a pain to use as a duffel bag. I dare you to try it when you have like 30L+ filled. The handle, which Also function as a pass though luggage, is not comfortable at all. It's sharp and tight. The bag position can get really weird and difficult to maneuver when using it this way. It does look really cool, but I wouldn't recommend using as a duffel bag. - Shoulder straps are not comfortable when heavy. I have only clothes and wash bag 70% filled by the way. - The black color gets dirty and dusty easily.
I still give it a 4 stars because it has well thought out organizational compartments, and all of them are easily accessible. It's a pretty good “backpack”. I feel like Peak only design and test the bag when empty or barely has stuff in it. if you make a bag this large, people are going to fill it up. Think about it more when it's heavy.

I try, I Love it.

I try it loading with many stuf as I can, two body cameras, one 70-200, several accesories.
Of course I have the camera cubes medium and small and both are great. I can load many stuff and with different configurations for what I need to carry. With my Everyday backpack after some minutes I will feel the pain in my back and It was so heavy I can not handle the straps.
After I end som photo session I was waiting for my relatives to pick me up, unfortunately I could sit or set my bag on the floor, many people passing by and I didnt get much support. But the bag ahndle so good that I didnt feel pain and it wast uncomfortable. It was good (plus I had my tripod and a gorillapod attach to the bag so imagine it really loaded.
I love teh bag so far I want to test more and with more stuff.

Best Backpack Ever

Absolutely love it. The zippers glide with ease. Tons of space. The dividers make it easy to keep things organized. I moved everything into the backpack I wanted to and still have pockets and space free. Can't recommend it enough, even for just a laptop/on-the-go bag.
