I was really excited for the new backpack from Peak Design. I already had 30L everyday backpack and thought it would be bigger brother version of it. I was wrong. It's using cheaper zippers and it's so hard to use side accesses. Also only one zipper (top) makes it harder to close it after taking out a camera. This is not an easy access backpack anymore, but it's a good travel backpack, which is inferior quality one compared to Everyday backpack. Would not recommend it for a camera backpack, but would recommend it for a travel backpack.

It is not only a high quality camera backpack, but it is also a functional daily carrier and travel bag. Because of the high quality recycled materials and modular design it gives me the peace of mind knowing that it is a circular and ethical product. With its unique packing system the Travel Backpack is especially useful when it comes to storing my camera gear while I utilise the bag for other purposes, like traveling or hiking. Highly recommend it to digital nomads who are looking for a multi purpose backpack that will last forever.

Good space, but the shoulder straps are terrible.

I bought the sage travel backpack in March at the Photography show. First, let's talk about the positives of the bag. The most noticeable thing about the bag is the look; it is easily one of the best bags I have seen, and the sage really suits the bag. The build quality is also very good; it feels expensive and built to last. Inside the bag, the space is impressive, and the fact that you can zip and expand the bag from 27 litres to 33 litres. I also like the laptop pocket, which is really practical.
For all the positives, unfortunately, the backpack is let down for a couple of reasons. The first is the hooks for the carry straps. Generally, it is nice to have them, but the 2 hooks at the bottom of the bag rub against my lower back, which is annoying. Also, I find the sternum strap pretty useless; it doesn't store particularly well and is always dropping out of its stored position.
The main issue, though, is the shoulder straps, which are absolutely awful. When I tried the bag out, it was empty, and the bag is OK, right up until you fill the bag up with equipment and books for university, the thin straps just put so much pressure on my shoulders that I have to take the bag off.
So whilst the bag has good space, I have to be so wary of what I put in the bag, because I can't carry around anything really heavy, which is pretty useless for a lot of what I would want to use the bag for.

Best travel bag, but weight heavy

This one bag is all you need for a 3-4 day trip. It's incredibly durable but unfortunately, it's also quite heavy.
Travel Backpack 45L - Black / 45L Great design. Three things I would add/change: Find a way to add wheels, bc it gets heavy when fully packed w/ clothes. (I am 6’- 3, 220 lbs) Also, the sternum strap needs to be secured so it stays put whenever used. Finally, if you use it with the medium or large camera cubes, add strap loops on the opposite side of the cube, so it can be clipped together with the backpack and accessed better from the main hatch. The current configuration of the strap loops doesn’t work as well as it could. Overall it is a really great product. I especially like the ability to tuck the backpack shoulder straps away. Works great for airplane travel.

Great bag that I never use

This is a great bag in terms of functionality and features. However, the comfort is a major flaw; after about 20 minutes of wear, it becomes painful enough that it is effectively unwearable for me.

I got the Sage color. Stylish, Great design and material! but find it very bulky and a bit clumsy. Space fills up so quickly than I thought :-(. maybe I'm the only one feeling this way?
