High Quality Gear

This is a great and well-laid out piece of travel gear. Nearly everyone needs a toiletry pouch, but is this one for you? That could depend as I personally feel the bag is a little too big for a single traveler as I travel pretty light and tend to not bring many toiletries. For a couple this is perfect (or for someone who brings more than the basics). However the quality and design of the bag is top notch as it keeps everything separated and is just so smart in the way it is put together. Just wish it was a little slimmer for me.

Pricey - but awesome

I was hesitant to buy this wash pouch because it is pricey - and I already have numerous dopp bags. But I love my other Peak Design products, so I took a chance. Now it is the ONLY bag I use for my toiletries because it is just so well made and designed. The quality of materials and construction is first-rate, as always. The design is simply great. I love all the pouches for organizing everything, especially the dedicated pouch for my toothbrush. I would buy this again in a heartbeat, and heartily recommend it.

I love this toiletry kit! I don't usually care too much about toiletry kits but this one worked flawlessly on my trip to Antarctica. For the last couple of years I've used the Eagle Creek Pack-It toiletry kit because of how small it is and I can keep everything in there. But it's limited in that I can't really hang it up very well. For my Antarctica kit, I'm glad I jumped up to this larger bag because of the hanger hook on it alone. On the ship there wasn't any counter space and I had to hang it on one of the handles in the bathroom. Even going over high swells on the Drake Passage I could keep the toiletry kit open and nothing fell out.
I was able to keep 3 weeks worth of stuff in there. I used the Matador FlatPak for my shampoo and the Nalgene 2oz bottles for everything else. It's like Peak Design designed around these perfectly. Well done Peak! I like that I could hang it or just as comfortably lay it out on the bathroom counter. I didn't think having a separate pocket for my razor would be that big of deal but I found that I really do like that. It's so easy to grab what I need and not have to dig for it. The toothbrush location is also super convenient since it's right in the middle of the bag.
The toiletry bag is on the larger side when it comes to toiletry bags. My preference would be to have a smaller version. It worked for my three week trip, I might have second thoughts on it for a weekend to a week-long trip.

Favorite Toiletry Bag I have Owned

Writing a review about a toiletry bag seems a little crazy, but Peak Design stuff just makes you want to brag about it. I came from two LL Bean toiletry bags, and although they were fine, the wash pouch from PD is superior is so many ways. Funny that some people think this thing is too big, as the LL Bean ones and others I have seen in the past are almost twice as big. My wife even said "that thing is pretty small, isn't it?". But after a few uses, I find it to be the perfect size. Love the compartments, origami style opening, and the ability to hang and store when not needed. Highly recommend!

Nice Bag

A good pouch, not as good as the tech pouch. Several shortcomings. Like the Tech Pouch, I'd like to see it thinner and taller. As it is, the internal pockets have difficulty holding travel bottles. I'd move the three internal pockets with dimension to the middle of the inside instead of the outer edge. When on the outer edge the bottles poke out of the bottom and top. If they were in the middle they'd fit better and you could use taller bottles--a 4 oz Opti-free saline solution just doesn't fit well when the pouch is closed. I'd like to see a few more zippered pockets both inside and out. My biggest problem is with the hang hook. It barely holds on to shower rods and it's leash is very, very short. I really like the tooth brush pocket and the razor pocket, but I feel like their shallow depth robs you of some very valuable real estate. Pouch doesn't come with a mirror, so I borrowed my sea to summit mirror which fits well. It's the first travel pouch in this price range that I'v ever purchased that does not have one. The insides sometimes (often) interfere with the zipper path.

Great toiletry bag

This bag is exactly what I needed! The bag almost has too much space but for me that's a good thing. We travel a lot as a family and the space I don't use gives me room for medicines and toothbrushes for the kids. When I travel alone I feel like I can squish it down in my bag and it doesn't take up any extra room. This is the perfect toiletry bag for all travelers
