Screen goes dark and doesn’t show time immediately after use. Apparently a feature I can’t change. Extremely low power, takes over 3 minutes to pop a bag of popcorn. Constant bugging issues and freezing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Energy Saver allows you to set specific times for when the clock display will turn on and off. After a period of inactivity, the display will enter its lowest power state to comply with Department of Energy regulations. Depending on the model, this may cause the screen to dim or turn off completely. This is normal operation and cannot be changed. More details about your display settings can be found on page 16 of the manual at the following link: https://images.salsify.com/image/upload/s--rqf4Ojvw--/950a5d5575642c3bda4c793de6bebab94a85b38c.pdf. When cooking popcorn, we recommend using the preset Popcorn feature. Details on how to use this feature can be found on page 9 of the manual at the same link above. If you are experiencing issues with connecting to your oven wirelessly or experiencing connectivity glitches, please call 800-220-6899 and ask for assistance with oven wireless connectivity.
Very nice microwave, BUT the fact that the clock will not stay on after use it and you cannot adjust it to stay on, is a BIG disappointment! The matching wall oven below it in the cabinet stays on. With the microwave clock not on, makes it look like it is broken. As much as this microwave cost you would think it would have the functionally to be on or off in settings as an option.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We'd like to provide clarity regarding the clock setting feature of your microwave. After a period of inactivity, the display will go into its lowest power state in order to comply with Department of Energy regulations. Depending on the model, this will cause the screen to dim or turn off completely. This is normal activity and cannot be changed.
Builder installed. Not my first choice. Or second. Really overdone with the music and asking to connect to an app. Do not need an app to warm up dinner.

We will pass your feedback on about the music and app feature along to our product team for review.
Our built-in microwave was installed on May 1. So far, we are very pleased with the performance. This is a replacement for the built-in advantium oven, and we prefer this one. We never used the oven features of the previous oven, so this made sense for us. The controls on our new oven are intuitive and easy to use.
Absolutely love this microwave. It’s bigger than I thought and it looks better in person than online. It’s powerful (although microwave power seems better than oven settings). Still trialing the oven aspect but it’s a nice option when doing cooking overflow (hello Thanksgiving). I preferred the hinge down option to the Samsung drawer as this was more powerful than those options and people complained about the drawer door always breaking. 9 months in and I had no regrets yet. It’s all digital so takes a little getting used to and hoping it’s lasts.
So far, I am very pleased with the microwave/convection oven. It has done everything from melt butter to soften cream cheese, from heat up leftovers to bake a salmon fillet. I also liked the fact that the sound could be turned down or even off.
