To be honest, I am disappointed with the 9-cup food processor. It seems underpowered. It is not as sturdy as my old 10 cup food processor. It is closer to a mini processor than it is to a sturdy 13 cup processor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Spout Assembly leaves A LOT to be desired!

While the regular bowl works as expected (this is my 2nd Cuisinart food processor) I have had a lot of trouble with the attachment that shoots the food into an outside bowl. (It seemed like a great idea when I was shopping for a new food processor - now I wish I had just bought a regular one) I have tried it several times with different types of food (cabbage, cheese, etc.) and have had not so great results. It clogs easily, regardless of what is being processed and because the spout is so small it is hard to un-clog it without removing the entire bowl (which makes a HUGE mess) I have contemplated returning it, but I got a really good price and the regular bowl works well and returning it would be too much trouble. I would not recommend this product - Just buy the old school food processor and don't be dazzled by the new feature.

Tends to bounce around when shredding lettuce. I guess I was use to a heavy food processor like my Kitchenaid that I gave to my daughter before buying this one. Just wish it were heavier 😢

I really like this food processor. I don't need a giant bowl and this size is just perfect for my occasional use. The continuous feed feature is really cool. No more stopping to lean out the bowl.

The processor heats up and stops working abruptly. The lid is hard to operate. The shooter works great, though and the size is perfect for home use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The machine was easy to put together and fits perfectly on my counter I am now in the middle of making my first batch of homemade chocolate chip cookies and it's working wonderfully, it fits perfectly on my counter space does not take up a lot of room. My son is so excited to get his chocolate chip cookies I can't wait for them to be done thank you for this opportunity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am used to using different kinds of slicers in my small kitchen- several of them (like chopper, shredder, slicer & my knivessss)...so I was pleasantly surprised that this is like all-in-1 processor!
It doesn't make a lot of noise, it can contain a decent amount of vegies or food to be chopped- so it's a time-saver especially for busy people like me! Can definitely see myself cooking more often now... And of course, it's from a trusted culinary brand. I am so glad to finally own a CUISINART, truly an art in the kitchen!!!
