[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our new Whirlpool Refrigerator. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is the ice dispenser bin is ridiculously hard to remove. Seems like an easy fix, but even the repair person said he gets those complaints over & over again.

Shiny New French Door Fridge!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this unit as a replacement for a Kenmore French Door unit that moved to our garage for drinks and overflow. It looks great in the kitchen, matching the other new stainless appliances we got at the same time. The ice function is strong (important during the summer!) but the unit takes up more space than in my previous machine. We are having to get used to the deli drawer being on top of the fruits & vegetables drawers (which is the opposite of how the previous refrigerator was set up). I would change this, if possible. The left-hand door (where the ice comes through, is extra heavy and tends to slam shut. We had a Whirlpool tech out to fix an issue with leveling the doors and he said it was engineered that way so that it wouldn't accidentally get left open. We are still figuring out the best configuration of items in the refrigerator portion because the placement of the filter and the ice maker are so different from our last unit, but overall we are happy with this purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had to replace our 24-yea- old Kitchenaid. Regretfully, we found that all the newer models are not of the same quality. However, Whirlpool has the best reputation for quality so ended up buying one. Had better lighting than most others, plus we wanted adjustable shelves. Attractive and works great. Drawers slide smoothly. However, when it drops the ice into the storage container, it is noisy. The water dispenser is more touchy than our old one, have to have the glass just right. When the ice comes out, you better be ready because it drops a lot at once. We had a side-by-side before and replaced it with the French Door model. Although nice, still prefer the side-by-side. Things we did not think about when looking for a new one, do the doors open enough to get the bins out for cleaning and removing the ice tray? Did not think about the fact you have to open both doors to use the deli drawer and open the left storage bin which lets more cold air out. However, all in all, we are happy with it. The main thing is it keeps the items uniformly cold, and there does not seem to be any sections in the refrig where it keeps the items so cold they ice up.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The meat drawer should be two small drawers instead of one wide drawer. It makes no sense to open both doors t get to the meat drawer.
The ice maker and cold water controls are difficult to use. i.e. very stiff and difficult to push.
