Not as good as the one it replaced

We were forced to purchase a new refrigerator quickly due to the unexpected and unexplained reason of demise of another refrigerator from a different company. This Whirlpool is a step down. I am not sure why it didn't come with a butter compartment. One of the biggest problems is that each time the doors are opened and closed the items stored in the door bins slide around and bang each other. Not only is it noisy and cringe worthy, I am afraid that something will break. Our last refrigerator came with rubber mats for those bins to prevent this from happening. Also the drawers in the main part do not seem steady as if one of the plastic parts will one day break. In addition, within days of purchase, my husband called Whirlpool about a complaint. Some days later, a couple of men showed up at our door. I asked why, and they didn't know! I telephoned my husband who said there was no appointment scheduled. One of the men called someone and began walking away. When I asked what he found out, they just got back in (UNMARKED!) truck and drove away.

Seem to be not as durable as Kitchen Aid.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] we lost our 9 year old Kitchen Aid refrigerator, due to bad compressor. Was told to costly to repair. Why don't they last longer. 9 years is not long for major appliance.

Love This French Door Fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Whirlpool refrigerator I wanted in black was on back order and no one knew when it would be available. It seemed as if all black Whirlpool appliances are on back order right now. I opted for a this fridge French door refrigerator instead in stainless steel. I notice more noise from this model than my previous refrigerator but it's not that loud.
I would recommend this to a friend!
