Good fridge, loud icemaker

It’s a good size, especially the freezer section. My only complaint is that the ice maker is LOUD. You can literally hear it filling the ice tray from another room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What I like about our new refrigerator, besides the way it looks, is that it was easy to program the temperature control for both the refrigerator and the freezer. The instructions were not complicated. The quick start-up guide was easy to read and follow. The delivery men who did the installation got everything going quickly. I read the guide and confirmed the temperatures in the refrigerator. I ran the water through the water dispenser to clear it for use. I threw away the first 3 batches of ice from the ice maker. The refrigerator and freezer were cold enough to transfer our food into it within just a few hours. The refrigerator does a better job than our previous one, and we find that foods are staying fresher longer in our new unit. So far, everything is going well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

French Door Refrigerator

Terrible icemaker ruins everything.

Very unhappy with this refrigerator. because of the terrible design of the icemaker. Had 25 people for Christmas dinner and NO ICE, which ruined our meal. No one was able to get the ice bin open so we could try to fix it. Neither cubed nor crushed ice would come out. I wish I had bought any other brand than whirlpool with my full kitchen remodel. I will never buy Whirlpool again. I have to call again for service on this icemaker. I wish they would take the whole thing and throw it in the trash.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
