Nothing but problems so far!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased a new home w/ a French-style (freezer on the bottom) Whirlpool refrigerator. I can't open the freezer door; seals serm to be frozen shut. Used the ice / water unit three times and the "Replace filter" light came on. Repair company is coming in a few days so hopefully, I will put in a positive review shortly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not enough ice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this refrigerator let than a month. We like the layout of both compartments. First disappointment is the volume of ice it holds, maybe 3 large mugs. It will not keep up with our family of 3. Second, when the ice is harvested it sounds like a gun shot from the kitchen and when the ice tray fills it sounds like a garbage disposal running or a lawn mower started in the garage. The ice maker is a major problem with this unit. Third, the other issue we have that it does not keep temperature at suggest setting (freezer "0", frige compartment at 38 degrees). We are told it is with in Whirlpool's range (4 or 5 degrees of suggested range) to me it should reach and maintain "suggested" temps.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bad luck so far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well, my 3 year old Whirlpool refrigerator compressor went out so I had to get this one. So far, not even a year in the ice maker stopped working. Thankfully it was still under warranty. Just not having luck with these refrigerators, I’m worried what the future with it will bring :/ I do like the fridge when it’s working properly though!

Its a fridge!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only had this fridge for a couple of weeks, so I don't have long-term feedback. However, it seems to function well. The in-door water/ice feature works well. The biggest frustration is that the bottom of the doors has space for more storage, but there is no option for another shelf. I'm guessing it needs room for air circulation, but when you buy a fridge that says 25 cu. ft. you expect to be able to utilize all of it.
Other than that, it is pretty nice. The drawers seem a little silly and awkward, but they are functional.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I want to say that I did not choose this fridge. It was provided by the builder. Fairly quiet. Huge freezer. A little too big for us. Now the fridge part is way too small mainly shelf space. There is a huge ice maker device that takes up 1/4 to 1/3 of the top area inside fridge. Total waste of space. Not much door space either. The fruit and veggie drawers and deli drawers are a good size.
