This Appliance Salesman Likes His New Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm an appliance insider (salesman), so I know that this refrigerator is one of the good ones made in the Amana plant. We replaced our counter-depth side-by-side with this full-depth model, and it's so much better! It's quieter, too, and dispenses water in a stronger stream than our old unit. We're so glad we chose this refrigerator.

Not as much interior space than our old fridge.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Compared to our previous Maytag refrigerator, this one is sufficient. However, there are two issues that we have noticed. The first issue is the loud noise it makes when the water fills the ice maker. I never notice this noise in our old fridge. The second issue is the loss of space in the shelving. I have adjusted the shelves to get the most area of space for taller items and am just disappointed that I have lost space for varying heights of containers like I had in the previous fridge. Other than these issues the fridge is doing the job. I will have to manage big family gatherings with coolers as the refrigerator space is limited. I wish I had compared the surface space before buying.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] self closing doors don't close unless pushed, Also frost is showing up in freezer making it difficult to open and close door and shelf.

Not what I expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Initial review of new refrigerator - not overly enthusiastic - larger outward size than old Sears one that quit., yet less room inside. don't exactly like inside configuration - don't like placement of ice holder - takes up too much space; always spits water when I use outside water/ice dispenser; unable to push inside button that is supposed to release ice cubes just not nearly as efficient as my Sears refrigerator!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
