I bought this a little over a week ago, and I am quite impressed with this product. The picture is good, and the automatic focus, and keynote works amazingly well. I cannot do a better job adjusting the focus and keystone myself. The only thing that I would change is the picture quality in darker scene's is difficult to see. But overall I am. very satisfied with this projector, and I would reccomened. The ease of use blows all other projectors out of the water. It truly is plug and play. Thank you Epson for making a wonderful product, and I'm excited to have plenty of movie nights with my family.

Great Portably & Extremely Capable

I’m writing this from a perspective of taking this on trips as well as home or office use. For the small size, this projector is really capable in many ways. First, If you find yourself on trips to field conditions such as in the military, this is a bit easier to deal with than what I’ve had to do in the past. Typically, I’d have to bring a projector or TV adapter as well as speakers & peripherals such as an Apple TV or other streaming adapter to provide any video related entertainment. This has the Android TV with all the community’s video apps available for it as well as a higher than normal quality Yamaha speakers built in. This reduces some of the stuff I need to bring. The connection design is on the side so when adding gaming systems, I have easy access & can simply swap the system.
The capability itself is also better than I expected. Looking at the photos I attached, the projection is overpowering my lights at 50% (& can still do well at 100% lighting). The contrast is still very good & with a more ideal placement, it can handle darks & lights with no difficulty. At around 7 to 8 feet, it is projecting around a 85-95” screen…I’m limited in this room by the room size. I projected this on my garage door & ran out of space again (pushing over 200”) with almost no need for lighting control. This could probably function as a theater projector for smaller theaters minus the need for an even larger sound system.
If you have office meetings in different rooms, this allows you to quickly set up a projector in any room with an outlet. This also allows connecting you phone wirelessly so you can avoid the need for bringing a laptop or needing a full computer system for meeting slides. My office uses TVs in many of our rooms for projections…this helps greatly as I’m not stuck with the smaller TVs. If you’re looking for an inexpensive way to have a home TV, this may be an option for you. Overall, I would recommend this to anybody looking for a large inexpensive display, with or without a need for portability…that’s just icing on the cake. This is a review for the Epson Mini EF12 Smart Streaming Laser Projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this projector a month ago for my husbands birthday. He had been wanting a projector for a while. I am so glad I did! This projector is absolutely amazing! The picture is clear as day and the speakers are loud and clear, and the base is surprisingly powerful! I love that we can stream our favorite movies and shows from our phones. It has great App support, and it is perfect for the outdoors! We have been using it outside on our garage door for neighbor get togethers. I love that it small, lightweight and easy to set up. I really recommend this product for its portability, ease of use, compactness, and most importantly the feature set. Its the best projector I have ever come across. This little projector is a lot of fun esp for friend and family gatherings.

Setup was easy. I love the portability. Sound is nice. Display is not the best. Can't get Netflix on it. Unable to adjust screen size unless you move the entire projector closer to the wall for a smaller image or further away from the wall for a larger image. This projector is a fail. I will be returning it.

- Design: This might not be something everyone consider but I do LOVE its stylish design, it is mass black with gold tone frame on top, in a box shape, looks way cooler than the flat irregular shaped options. It is not heavy so I can carry it around easily when we use it in different rooms.
- Easy to use: set up is super easy, took me 10 minutes to hook up with wifi, ipad, and even my phone. It comes with Android TV, Hulu, HBO, and of course, YouTube.
- Crispy picture quality: I just cannot believe the quality of the image is just outstanding, super crispy, beautiful color, even works great with natural light.
- Sound (Yamaha): Well the only thing I want to say is we started to use this as our standalone speaker, that's how great it is!!
