[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced my 10 year old Lenovo with this T16, decided it was time to move to Windows 11. Have 32G of storage and 1Terabyte of disk space. Especially like the lite keyboard and face recognition on startup.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased the ThinkPad T16 Gen 3 to replace a 10+ year old ThinkPad Yoga. I liked the Yoga but, wanted a bigger screen than 14" and, since I have relatively big hands, wanted a larger keyboard as well. The upgrade from 4mb RAM to 32 obviously, is AWESOME. But, I purchased another Lenovo because of durability. The Yoga got banged around. I farm on the side and it was always in a backpack moving from equipment to meetings to home. It was dropped several times but, always functioned perfectly. That's why you buy a Lenovo ThinkPad. Probably will never have anything else. I only have two criticisms. Right now Lenovo does not really offer a 15.3" ThinkPad with a full size keyboard and no numerical keypad. The T16 I (had) to purchase as a full 16" screen and a full keyboard with a numerical keypad. They are o.k. but, the 16" screen and the numerical keypad, I believe, make the laptop slightly larger and heavier than it needs to be. I worked for a fortune 500 company and traveled globally for over 20 years with a 15.3" laptop with a full size keyboard and no keypad. My opinion is that configuration is really the best compromise between portability and functionality. However, Lenovo does not offer. Because I purchased the Lenovo, I obviously prioritize durability and long term reliability over the slightly better functionality and portability of the 15.3" screen and keyboard with numerical keypad. I'm very happy with my purchase and look forward to another Lenovo ThinkPad which lasts for 10+ years.
