Amazing ultra racing watch
on December 16, 2025

I purchased this watch after frustrations with battery life on my Fenix 8s. The battery on this watch lasts so long I don’t even think about it anymore. It is a very large watch, but lightweight and the Velcro straps are much better for comfort and exact fit compared to the silicon bands. I have all the mapping features important to me on unfamiliar routes. All the daily smartwatch features I’ve grown used to work as expected. If you want a super functional running watch for long days on road or trail, this would be my top pick.

Previously I had a Fenix 5. This is a huge improvement in battery life and sensor performance. I didn't want a lot the extra stuff with new Fenix that added complexity, weight, cost. This is a great tool watch. Super light and the batter performance w/ solar is excellent.

Couldn't be happier
on December 22, 2025

I was going back and forth between the Enduro 3 and the Fenix 8. I can't speak for the features of the Fenix but I literally could not be happier with my selection.
I participate in 5-7 adventure races a summer, and spend the winter on the slopes as a HS Alpine Ski Coach. I also do yoga and lift frequently to help keep in shape. I've used or am familiar with just about all other major brands of smart watches having used them myself or having close family members who use them on a daily basis. I'm coming from a long loved Suunto Core that has been on many trips and refurbished twice.
Every feature I could imagine needing to track my training and health is not only tracked by my watch, but it is also easy to access. I've seen some reviews with users stating the user interface is difficult to learn, but if you've been using watches with multiple screens it is a low learning curve. To help, Garmin has many online resources that I found helpful for navigating the processes I wanted to learn.
The screen is plenty bright and adjustable to meet your needs. Buttons are easy to access and use with gloved fingers which is nice on really cold (sub 0) days.
I could go on and on about how I'm using the data being tracked and how it could benefit your training or health journey but I wont; there are plenty of reviews online for that. I find a few of the applications such as the body battery, training readiness, stress, and endurance scores to be particularly helpful but those are available on multiple watch platforms so I wont dig in there either.
The band is much more comfortable than I though it would be. The Velcro is both soft and extremely durable so far. I've worn the watch 24/7 for multiple weeks at a time without it coming lose, stinking, or causing any irritation.
My biggest surprise outside the functionality of the "flashlight" (it works really well) is the battery life.
I ran it the other day in GPS tracking mode for a 7 hour training session on the ski slopes. I expected the battery to drop significantly, which it didn't. I started with the battery percentage around 20% and AFTER running GPS all day I still have 7 days of run time left!

Garmin Enduro 3! Battery King!
on December 30, 2025

This watch is everything you will need. No need to spend the extra money on the Fénix 8 unless you’re a diver. Plus the battery life is far superior. The length of time between charges when I am tracking some form of workout, run, swim, bike or walk every day and still am getting about a month between chargers is fantastic. 10/10 recommend.

Excellent battery life and premium software.

I replaced my bike computer with this watch, it does 95% of the bike functions and has way more options for other sports.
The 51mm screen is good enough to use on the bike.
The battery life is excellent, way more than any other product that I’ve used.
The software is fast, it never lags.
Great product.
