The new VKX camera exceeds expectations

I have 8 V150 cameras spread over several remote properties. When the new VKX camera came out, I gave one a try. It performed so well that I have added three more. The field of vision and clarity of the picture and video on demand is a vast improvement over the V150 (which was pretty good, too). I particularly like the larger solar panel on the VKX. If I could make one change off an external plug-in solar panel so I can position a camera on the north side of a tree yet receive the sun's rays on the south side. Overall, Vosker has exceeded my expectations and is relatively reasonably priced for the premium annual package.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The built in solar panel is great!

Since I’m using this camera so far away from my home the built in solar panel makes it easier not having to worry about battery life. It takes clear pictures and the live video is also clear as can be. Definitely a great item to have for remote security monitoring.

Fantastic remote surveillance

Vosker products have always impressed me and the VKX lives up to the brand quality. I use them for security on our jobsites with no power and no wifi to watch our equipment and projects. Very easy to understand the start up directions and get the camera going. The mounting hardware is very easy to use and install and has a great range of motion. The app is also user friendly with nice photo previews. I am very happy with the detection range and video quality.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Peace of Mind

I own a 130 acre parcel about 45 minutes from where I live. There are livestock and corn fields and lots of folks that like to trespass. I don't have wifi at the property but wanted a way to monitor the property. Previously I had put a cellular game camera on the main entrance. It worked but I wanted to be able to live view it if I got a detection alert. This camera allows that. I also like I can set an interval it will take a photo at, even if nothing moves in front of it. This peace of mind knowing the camera is still there and pointing in the right location is nice when you can only get eyes on the property every few weeks. The image quality is very good. I have attached a thumbnail, this isn't even the HD photo, and it is detailed enough I could pick out a face. I have had it out for a few days and been messing with live view and pictures on demand, and the battery is still full.
Adding the camera to the App is easy as well. I like I can add it then throw a plan on it a couple days after I get it working. It seems too many companies want a credit card just to activate a camera any more. I have no problem paying for a plan once I know the camera will work.
For these reasons I think this is a good value camera if you want to have surveillance on an area. It's definitely an upgrade from just a cellular game camera.
