Not as off-grid friendly as I hoped

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok I would like to start out that the camera itself is very nice and sturdy. I love the idea of it having a solar panel for solar charging, but it doesn’t last. After about a week I had to recharge the battery with a charging cord. I have a different security camera system at my home and I haven’t had to change the batteries in them yet and it’s been over a year. I also don’t like that you have to have a subscription to even use the cameras at all or to access the photos or videos it collects. I feel like the point of being “off-grid” is to be able to be untied to the system when need be. The system I have in place at my home now has subscriptions available but I can still use the security system on its own and save alerts to a local drive. This camera doesn’t have that option available. I do like that they offer different tiers of services. I also like the quality of the photos and videos it captures. It is quite sensitive too, I had to turn down the sensitivity on a really windy day because my trees kept setting it off. I like the concept of this camera, but it missed the mark a bit for me.

High quality camera

I purchased the VKX and I cannot be happier. I have it directing towards vehicles coming in and out of our facility and it works great. The quality is second to none, not to mention it’s a few clicks of a button to set up!! Highly recommend this product for businesses or even just at home use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Vosker VKX is a great security camera. It takes great pictures and videos. I love that it is solar powered and that after the first initial charge I don’t have to worry about charging it again. Some things I would change are: let people add multiple times for the camera to come on. Right now you can only add one start and stop time. Having more would be awesome! The other thing I would change is the price of the subscription. You pretty much have to get the most expensive plan otherwise you will use up your pics per month in the first week. I wish it didn’t have to have a subscription.

Great Security Camera

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Happy I had the opportunity to review this product…been testing it out for about three weeks, and it picks up every movement throughout the day and night…the pictures comes out very clear..monthly service options are very reasonable cost wise…the only downside is I do not get notifications when there is a picture taken

Great camera

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great camera! It is solar powered and motion activated. You can view it on demand. There is an option to "activate" the camera and all the other security features but I didn't opt for that. This camera does what I need it to without the other features.

Great security camera for our little hobby farm

It is fairly easy to use; however, my husband who isn't tech savvy, has struggled with figuring out some of the features. In all, it is a very nice security camera that has many great features.

Super cool Tool

I recently started a business and love the mobility of this device. I can set it up anywhere to monitor all of our assets. App was also very easy to set up and monitor including downloading video.
