Great sound bar

Great sound SIMPLE set up!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am extremely pleased with this surround sound system. We pugged in the HDMI cable and everything immediately sunk together. The soundbar, subwoofer, and both speakers.
We were fully prepared to deal with the headache of new technology and it was a breeze! No curse words came out of my husbands mouth for the first time ever.

Other than that, the sound is incredible! I enjoy seeing my husband look behind him because he thinks someone is back there. The app is very user friendly and so is the remote. I can use my phone or the remote but the remote is rarely needed. When we power the tv on or off, the speakers automatically do the same thing. I have yet to find anything about this speaker system that I am unhappy with.
The app allows me to change from movie to music to sports or to voices. I can adjust all of the sound qualities in EQ mode to my liking.

Fantastic speakers, 10/10

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We really love this sound system. The speakers are a good size and sound incredible. The Bluetooth connection made the setup and use processes really simple, which we loved. The speakers worked great with our Vizio TV. The bass really booms if you turn it up, which is great since we listen to a lot of music on it.

Must have sound system

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you want to experience movie theater quality at home, you must purchase this sound system. Watching movies or tv shows is much better and there is a huge difference in the sound with using this product. Definitely recommend!!!

Great Sound!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TCL did well with this 7.1.4 channel soundbar with wireless subwoofer and satellite speakers. With up to 860 watts of power it can definitely be felt when listening/watching to action movies! Especially with the bass boost from the 6.5" wireless subwoofer, which can be adjusted from low, medium, and high. In addition, the up-firing speakers from both the soundbar and the satellite speakers fill the room with beautiful sound.
The system comes complete with several power cables that are all the same for each of the components. One HDMI cable is also included. As far as connections to the soundbar, there is one HDMI eARC, one HDMI In, one Optical, and one USB. The remote is complete with all of the options needed to tune the system. However, I am yet to figure out how to adjust the volume of the surround using the remote. It has to be done using the app.
As for the app, it's very easy to set up and is needed to perform the auto room calibration. It's very easy to perform the auto room calibration using the microphone installed on one's cellphone and it is well configured by TCL. It's a must to do! The app also allows full control of the system as if one is using the remote.
The entire system came well packaged, however it was pretty beat up during shipping. Thankfully nothing was damaged due to the styrofoam used to protect all of the components. As for the piano black on the subwoofer and the soundbar, it is well protected with removable plastic.
Lastly, I do have a couple of complaints and that is with the mounting of the soundbar. With all of my soundbars, I mount them with using rear mounts. However, this soundbar doesn't have holes on the rear and it's a big disappointment. Because of this, it took more time than I wanted to install this to my television using undermounts. In addition, I have this connected to my Samsung television, and it takes several seconds for sound to come out of it when turning on the television, which is annoyingg since the soundbar goes into "sleep mode" when turned off. I also don't see the point of the light strip on top of the soundbar. It serves no purpose as you can't see it when mounted. This is why I am giving it 4 stars.

Nice system with easy set up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I'll start by saying I'm in no way an expert about sound quality not an audiophile. However, for my basic layman's needs I found this sound system really nice. The set came with the sound bar, subwoofer and 2 small satellite speakers. Right out of the box I thought they all looked super sleek and modern. The set up was incredibly easy. I used an optical cable (not included) because my TV is on the old side and an optical cable has seemed to work best for hooking up a sound bar. As soon as I plugged it in and turned the power on it immediately began to emit sound. This alone would have been enough for me as it is a huge improvement from the television speakers. I then hooked up the subwoofer and satellite speakers. These all connected via Bluetooth, I followed the instructions in the book and they all paired without any issues at all. The base coming from the subwoofer was really good and seemed pretty well synced even before calibration. The satellite speakers also put out a nice amount of sound as well without being overwhelming. The soundbar itself has a display feature that tells you when you've turned it on and indicates the volume levels and other necessary information. It also integrated with the TV so I could just use the TV remote for the volume control. The app for calibration was also really fast to install and seemed to work as intended without much effort. Overall I would recommend this system if you're looking for a nice midrange product. The room I used it in isn't overly large and is carpeted so I suppose those could be factors that affect the overall quality and experience but for my needs I'd say it's definitely a nice addition to the home theater experience.

Excellent sound system for price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So excited to try this soundbar, speakers, and subwoofer from TCL. The box was heavy and had a gash in one side when received, however it was packaged so well inside that the product was not damaged. All 4 pieces are sharp looking, shiny black. Remote comes with a battery. It was super easy to set up and hook up, except that we wish they had included an optical cable since our TV doesn't have HDMI eARC. Luckily we had an extra optical cable we used. It has great surround sound for a product of this cost/quality! We also easily use Bluetooth to play music from our phones! Love it!
