It’s probably right for someone

First let me say I only bought this because the model that supposedly was going to fit in my tailored space (it was the replacement for my microwave that pooped out) didn’t fit; model was fractions of an inch larger. This one is very small and not very powerful. Clock doesn’t keep time so I keep having to reset it. It’s overpriced for what it is.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Exact Replacement For My Older GE Microwave Oven

After years of use, decided to purchase another GE Microwave Oven of the same capacity. Love the overall design of this oven, the controls are extremely easy to use and for myself the performance and power of this oven meets my needs. Although, I don't require this function, this model also has the safety "lock feature" for those with children . The directions to convert it to a conventional microwave oven were simple to follow. Love GE Products.

I am giving another 5 star review as I did with my first one before the unit started emitting white smoke. Because in spite of this, I still have faith in GE and I am optimistic of the performance of the replacement, same 700 watts microwave.

Nice features but beeping is out of control

So much about this microwave is great -- the cooking capacity and nice fryer -- but the noise level for beeping is nuts. It beeps loud to signal HOT, to TURN as well as the usual beeps when a dish is finished. I get the safety of it but there are no small children in this house, and there appears to be no way to turn down the sound or mute it. The manual doesn't even address it.

We'd like to assist you with your microwave. The beeper sound can be adjusted on this unit. You will need to press sound for mute or normal. You can find this information on page 12 of the owner's manual. Here is the link:
