This tv blows away the competition! I love how easy it is to navigate through the smart tv options. I am definately a Samsung convert!

Step up from CRT

Purchase this TV after 20 years of service from my old 32" CRT. Huge step up in picture quality and features. I'm only using over-the-air antenna programming, no cable or satellite. Reception is excellent in the Los Angeles area with a roof antenna. Speakers were a bit of a step down. But there is an equalizer to suite sound to my taste. So voice quality is actually improved. And I can always switch sound to my receiver for movies and concerts. I have not connected to my network yet, so no comment on that feature. At a 12 foot viewing distance, the 60" screen is the largest I was comfortable with. It also makes for a good picture display size for the older 4:3 format shows, when viewed in the proper ratio. So far very happy with this purchase.

My only negatives are connectivity to my laptop. Ive tried multiple times but I cannot connect. And the built in speakers are very poor.

No parts available

I love this TV, but I need a new remote control and it is so new that they are not available for this model. I am worried that there would not be parts available in the future if something happens to this TV. I would suggest buying a more popular model and making sure parts are available before you purchase the TV.

Best bang for the money in a HD 60" TV. Sports, especially football, boxing, and MMA are unbelievably great.
