Compact yet so powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This whirlpool window unit is so impressive! Not only does it look sleek and non bulky, but it really puts out some power. It has so many settings that I haven't even figured out how to use all of them yet. Very quiet!! We live in an area that has quite warm days followed by cold nights and the sleep setting is a great idea. We have had other Whirlpool appliances before and know the quality is usually pretty good, I'm hoping this window unit holds up for a few summers. The removable air filter is essential, so easy to clean! The window seal seems to be good and relatively tight, may need adjustment on my end but overall seems efficient and was very easy to install. Love this unit so far, we love a cooler room and this delivers!

Typical window AC with some nice features. Kind o

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am excited for our new GE air conditioner. This is now installed in our bedroom window, and as you can imagine, noise was a big factor in our decision. This inverter technology seems to help make this unit run quietly and without some of the dramatic “on/off” sounds some of our other units make. It is reasonably quiet and works for our bedroom.
The size and weight is normal or maybe slightly above average for an 8000btu AC unit. I kind of wish it was more compact and lighter weight.
The aesthetics are ok. Definitely better than some of the cheaper window units, but not as high end as some of the newer systems from other manufacturers. Build quality is ok, exactly what you expect from GE. Good, but not high end.
Overall, given the price point vs features this offers, I am happy with the unit.

Works for 800 square foot garage.

I am using this in the garage as a way to cool it down and to get some airflow/circulation. We have an 800 square foot garage which the u it is rated for 550 but it still cools and moves the air. It was easy to install and comes with a remote. The white color is sleek and the digital screen looks sharp. Comes with a remote if you don’t want to get up and adjust the speed and temperature. Fantastic A/C u it for sure.

Easy to operate, cools room quickly, and super qu

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The weather is warming up, and our window in our bedroom gets the afternoon sun, so we need an aircondioner that can keep the room cool. The Whirlpool 10,000 BTU Window Mounted Inverter Air Conditioner exceeded my expectations.
It was easy to install, and the cord was long enough to reach the outlet. Upon first use, it cooled quickly, super quiet, and has a remote to adjust it without having to get out of bed. It has an Eco function to save energy and a sleep mode where the set temperature increases 1 degree every 30-60 min. During the sleep cycle until it reaches the set temperature. It even has a Dry mode to reduce the humidity in the air.
Fan speed , temperature, and airflow direction are easy to set with a push of a button. You can set a timer as well. I highly recommend this aircondioner. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.
