Litter robot great! Stairs were unnecessary extra cost

Stairs are good but useless (unless cat has mobility issues later in life); will hold them in closet for a few years.

Great addition to litter robot

Litter robot stairs were a great addition. Makes it much easier for my cats to enter and exit unit. I added Drymat original cat litter mat and cut to stick onto the stairs. Helps a lot in catching litter (use crystal litter). It was easy to cut to fix stairs and my cats prefer the soft mat on their toes. One of my cat loves to sit on the stairs as it does the cleaning cycle. It was also very easy to install.

Opportunities for Improvement

I have 3 cats who acclimated to this quite nicely except for my senior kitty. He’s 15 and moves a little slower with arthritis and muscle loss. I bought this mainly for him to make it easier getting in and out of but it actually seems more difficult due to the smoothness of the material. There’s no grip on the steps at all. It works but anyone with a senior kitty should take this into consideration.

Simply put.. this product changed my life. I had adopted 2 cats from the local shelter and for whatever reason, they seemed to fill up 2 litter boxes in less than 2 days. It was beyond a chore. And the days I would forget or be busy with something else, they just had the goods that would stink up my entire house. I became ashamed to even have company over because even with clean boxes, it just stunk. Enter the Litter Robot. Thanks to reading other folks suggestions on a forum, I started researching LR. The price was hard to consider at first, but I was desparate. I went for it. I am so glad I did. This one box handles both cats with complete ease. It does about a 95% good job keeping all foul smells within a few feet of it. I would dare say this has been one of my best purchases made in a very long time. Highly recommend this to anyone on the fence. I ordered the refurb unit to save some cash and what I got seemed like brand new anyway. It has been running flawlessly for 2 months now. 10/10 review from me.

This Litter robot has been a game changer! The ramp is much needed my 11yr old big cat Ice. Only wish there was carpet on the stairs to catch litter. My cats make a real mess walking down from the litter robot. Thank you

Cats avoided and too big for coastal credenza

When it first arrived, we used it without the credenza since we hadn’t built it yet. Both cats avoided it and just jumped into and out of the box at a diagonal which made tracking worse. It also seemed a little unstable so I get their reluctance. After building the coastal credenza, we found the ramp doesn’t fit inside of it.

Love the ramp

When I first purchased the Litter Robot 4 it did not have the ramp, My cats would jump out of the robot and litter would fly everywhere. Needless to say I had a lot of litter to constantly sweep up. Once the ramp became available I purchased it. It took them a little while to get used to it but now they walk out of the box instead of jumping which means less litter mess. Yay!

Color does not match

Connection between steps and Litter Robot using the large gate leaves a larger gap that detracts from the look. Also the plastic color, which we have the light color units, does not match. Other than that is seems fine.
