Long-awaited! Perfect for hesitant cat

I have been waiting for the litter robot 4 ramp since I purchased my litter robots about 5 months ago. Two of my 3 cats took to the robots right away, but my third cat was scared of the robots at first and then clearly disliked the single step (he's a larger cat) and I was afraid he just wouldn't ever use them. However, once I added the stairs, he started using the robots almost right away! It's such a relief, and a great option for any robot-hesitant cats

Nice but cats don't like it

I took the ramp-stairs off again since the cat is not using it. I think it is too bouncy for him to feel secure. One cat doesn't use the Whisker at all (never has) and I hoped the steps would help but, alas, it hasn't made any difference. The cat that uses the Whisker doesn't like the ramp.

Love the concept

Love the concept of the steps but they are a bit flimsy and move around so my cats are scared to use and just jump over it. I have secured it with bigger rubber grips but the design could use this to begin with. Also frustrating that you have to buy a new fence to be able to use a fence with the steps. One of my cats just gets in a squats immediately, pooping on the top step frequently. I think the fence needed for this should come with the purchase of these steps.

Messes with weight sensor

The long-anticipated stair ramp for LR4 takes up a bit more space than I had anticipated. I wish it fit directly onto the fence rather than being an extension. The stairs are a bit slippery for the cats. The biggest issue is that the cat weight sensor is completely off ever since the stairs were installed. I hope Whisker creates a calibration fix for that.

My kitties love it !

Great long term addition to the Litter Robot! My older cat loves the easy access up and down the steps. Eventually our furry babies will developed arthritis and this will make it easier to access the litter robot. My younger one likes to leap over all the stairs or walk them depending on her mood. Both like the additional support now they can lean out further to give them more room to work with when taking care of their needs . Great addition. Should be bundled or included going forward!
