I rarely use my cellphone, but nowadays it seems to be necessary. This was really inexpensive and does way more than needed (for me) and works well for receiving text alerts for doctors' updates, deliveries, and ready for pickup notices-my home phone cannot receive texts. This was a really good deal as is was actually free!
