So far, especially at the price, very pleased with the 'TCL 40' cell phone. I've had problems with most 'touch screen' phones since for some reason they won't recognize my 'finger touch'. The TCL 40 I've had no problems with that aspect at all. As with most 'android' phones, it is a bit slow getting it's self loaded and running when turn on, but after that it's great. The 'on screen' keyboard, though small like most phones, I've had very few typos with and I like the way, as you type a message, it gives suggestions for the word you're typing. If I see the correct word, tap it and move on to the next word. Really handy for text messages.
I thought phone would be good replacing the same style and having similar functions but it's not good at all. The on button is smooth against the case so not easy to find with just a touch of the finger. The volume button is slightly higher on the case and so it's easy to go their first when trying to turn on the phone. Also, turning the phone off is difficult for the same reason. If the on/off button and volume button have to be hit at the same time it's difficult to do. I am not pleased with the phone and will probably have to purchase another some. I do like the functions of TCL but this might not be their best operating phone. thx.
