Good, but has fan issue

The pc is fast, has great connectivity and a good screen. However there is an issue with the fan control. The fan comes on, very noisily, when the cpu load and gpu load are low, and the temperature is well within operating range. The fan stays on but will turn off and stay off if the pc is turned off and on again immediately. The issue occurs with the pc in standby even with the gpu turned off.
ASUS support was not helpful. They merely suggest using hibernate instead of sleep., and suggest that the fan running full bore with the gpu off and the cpu showing normal temperature is normal operation.
I would not buy this laptop to do presentations or for any situation where the laptop cannot be powered off and on again when this issue occurs.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Powerful and versatile laptop, buggy software.

I hate having to sync my files and settings between devices, so I was looking for something that was powerful enough and versatile enough to me my only computer.
This search had me settle on the ProArt PX13.
For me this laptop takes the roles of a desktop, laptop, and drawing tablet.
I mostly use the laptop docked with a keyboard, mouse, audio interface, and 2 displays.
Tablet mode is great for watching videos in bed and for using the included drawing stylus.
The battery life isn't that great. It lasts 4-6 hours depending on what I'm doing.
Occasionally I have severe issues with the laptop sometimes only one of these issues will manifest, sometimes a combination of them.
-Laptop will not charge -CPU clocks limited to 0.60 GHz and 5c cores at 0% -Laptop keyboard doesn't function -Display will not auto rotate
The solution I've come up with to fix these issues is going in and out of hibernation. [THIS SHOULD NOT BE NECESSARY, ASUS!] I believe these problems may be related to sleep.
