Very happy with my worx 2 in 1 reciprocating/jigsaw. It has plenty of power and is very easy to use. I was able to build my elderly mother a ramp for her garage and put my mind at ease that she can safely get in and out now! Thanks Worx for such great products.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this magnificent tool for just a few weeks and I must say it is great for so many little jobs. It’s my go-to saw for a variety of jobs. Having both reciprocating and jig saw capabilities was a super idea. Love it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even though I already owned a jig saw I bought this because of the sawsall feature. I had some demo work and fine wood working I had to do. This product far exceeded my expectations! Demo was great and fine cuts were exact. Has to be one of the best tools I have!
I've had my Axis for about two weeks now and I'm in love. I'm a retired homeowner, not a contractor, but I spend a lot of time building things around the house and I work with a volunteer crew building ramps for handicapped access. I'm really impressed with this saw. I put a long sawzall blade in it and cut through a 4x8 wood beam in less than a minute. With a metal blade, I cut through a 1-inch water pipe in about 20 seconds. I've used it in jigsaw mode to notch plywood and 2x4's. With a short wood blade for a sawzall, I can put it into jigsaw mode and get a pretty square cut on a 2x4, using a speed square as a saw guide. It's also good for cutting 4x4 posts, which is tough with a circular saw. The Axis is small, lightweight, and surprisingly powerful. The chuck takes any reciprocating blade or jigsaw blade, and allows cutting in either direction in both modes. WIth this and a drill/driver, I'm set for all sorts of simple carpentry. So far at least, I tend to run out of power before the Axis battery does. It is also light enough that my wife is sarting to use it for pruning. This my fourth or fifth Worx product. I also own an SD deriver, a trimmer/edger, blower, and the aerocart. The trimmer/edger is the best I've ever owned for my lawn, and the aerocart has proven very useful - especially using the arms to lift and move heavy flower pots. Worx tools really are innovative. Keep it up guys!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit to trim trees way back in my yard and since it is battery powered, I did not need to run multiple extension cords. It had plenty of power.
