Good and versatile but...........

Good versatile product. Price gets it 4 stars. Weaknesses are the the clumsy trigger lock - I know for safety the design is meant to protect people but the inability to have the lock stay unlocked even if you release all trigger pressure is annoying. The saw will stop anyway when there is no trigger pressure. But if you wanted to pulse or stop and go you have to press the trigger lock again and again. Weakness two - the sawl is heavier than I thought.

I can't give a complete review on this yet as it is a Christmas present and is still in the box. I have quite a collection of Worx Products and am always pleased with them. I'm pretty sure I will be very satisfied with this one as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this tool for everything cutting up old wood using a saw saw blade that’s a awesome thing to have in this tool it can use many different blades jig saw blades and saw saw blades very very handy

I do not use a jig/ reciprocating saw often but this saw is so versatile and works so well that I am sure that I will continue to find uses for it as I have already. Battery powered makes all the difference because I can use it anywhere. I just used it in combination with the pegasus folding work table to cut some metal tubing and with both, it was a breeze.

THE USE OF THE BLADES BECOMES A BIT CONFUSING ONLY ONE OF THE BLADES CLEARLY STATES ON THE BLADE THAT IT IS USED FOR WOOD...THE OTHER BLADES DO NOT CLEARLY HAVE CLEAR LABELS AND/OR WHAT THRY ARE USED FOR? I TRYLY BELIEVE THAT WORX SHOULD CORRECT THIS AREA OF THE PRODUCT. IN ADDITION, THE PRODUCT MANUAL AND THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE NOT TOO CLEAR EITHER...YOU SIMPLY HAVE TO USE THIS TOOL USING YOUR HANDYMAN KNOWLEDGE AND PERHAPS THEN YOU CAN LEARN HOW TO USE IT...

Very handy tool

This is such a great tool. Converting from reciprocating to jig saw is very easy. Installing blades is very simple. Great for working on woodworking projects without having to carry 2 saws.
