Used this to build a log rack. The reciprocating saw made quick work of the tree roots for the foundation. The jig saw crushed through the uprights and cross-pieces 2x4's.
Light and very easy to change blades plenty of power.

limited use so far, worked well for cutting fence slats in 3/4 inch pine. good saw . always use good blades

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the design and how easy it is to use. The only thing I wish that it had better battery life. I can go about 10 straight minutes and then the battery is dead.

Broke on 3rd cut

Motor screeches, blade does not move, something happened on my 3rd cot of a pine 1x4.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just what you wanted for a quick jig saw/reciprocating saw. The ease of switching blades is a major plus. You couldn’t ask for a better tool for a quick cut job.
