Good, but could be lighter

I got it a month ago to carry all the electric cables, connectors, chargers etc. Compartments are great, and make organizing easy. Fabric is good, but for my use could have been much thinner/lighter to take off weight and bulk.
I originally bought a Tech Pouch in 2019 and I used it daily for over 5 years. It traveled around the world with me >20 times and was perfect for keeping all my cords and various other things organized during that time. It also fits perfectly inside my backpack (not PD, sorry!). A few months ago, the zipper broke - something I consider reasonable after the years and miles I put on this thing. I sent a warranty claim in and a new pouch was sent to me, no questions asked. The new model is even better. The material feels nicer, it's lighter, and the zipper is SMOOTH. Cheers to more years and adventures!
I love this pouch. Extremely rugged, well built. Lots of pockets to organize things. I keep lots of my smaller tech stuff (batteries, storage cards, cables, extra lens caps, etc) here, so I can easily move all these small items between my backpack, carryon bag (when flying, since there are L-ion batteries), messenger back, etc., rather than having to dig out all the items from separate pockets in each bag. Saves me a ton of hassles.
The SMALL Tech Pouch is good for one charging brick and 2 long (3m/10ft) cables, or a compact camera with 2 rolls of films. Also nice that it has loops for the flathook straps.
Only negative I have with Peak Design stuff generally is the registration process. Some of the QR codes are printed too small and/or put in a difficult to reach place that a phone camera cannot get a good shot to automate the process. E.g., the QR code for this unit is sewn deep inside a zippered pocket covered by another label, requiring 3 hands to get a shot.
The Peak Design Tech Pouch is exceptionally well-made—top-tier materials, smart design, and great attention to detail. I love how everything is in one place instead of scattered around. There are tons of small pockets and compartments that keep tiny items safe and easy to find, without the risk of them falling out or disappearing.
I travel a lot, and I can confidently say this pouch shines when you have space to use it properly—like on long trips with a backpack or suitcase. But for short getaways, especially budget flights with just a carry-on, it can take up too much precious room. If you’re only packing a phone charger and a power bank, this pouch might be overkill.
Sure, you could try using it as a small city sling like they show on the website, but personally, I don’t think that’s what it was really made for.
That said, when you do have the room, it’s 100% worth it—your cables, gadgets, memory cards, and accessories stay protected, organized, and even a bit weather-resistant. Like all Peak Design gear, it’s functional, beautiful, and a joy to use.
My dad sent me this note the day he received it. "Thank you for the tech bag for Father's Day. It is perfect for my GPS!" A few days later he messaged again with "That Tech Bag you gave me is really nice. It is good quality, well designed and has some really handy straps on it. THANK YOU!!! I told him I have a camera clip and a duffle bag from this company and like their stuff. Anyway, 5/5 stars
