Durable!? Nahhh....

I bought the small and medium-sized packing cube last year and use them quite often (every Weekend). Although the cubes look good they are not as durable as marketed. The grip of the medium packing cube have unfortunately started to give up and it won't be there for a long time.

Small packing cube is a-okay

I got two small packing cubes so that I could have one with "definitely going to wear" stuff and another for backup & just-in-case stuff. I put the backup cube in the bottom corner of my pack and because it zips down into a rounded shape I could fit more things in the corner spaces around it. The other one sat higher up for daily access and being able to put the used clothes back in the same bag on the other side worked perfectly. I used to throw all used clothes in a stuffsack which would grow and throw off my organization as it grew. Able to definitely get by with one small cube on a casual long weekend.

A really good packing cube which maximizes space

First, the great: materials are top notch, reliability seems good so far, compression is effective and I can easily cram more clothes into this cube than its competition. 12"x12" is a good size for most backpacks and travel packs.
The not so great: the plastic pull tabs a gimmick, in my opinion, and they too easily will open under pressure from the clothes if packed tightly. I often have to double-check this before I pull the cube out of my luggage. I'd much rather a zipper than ran the full circumference of the cube. The laundry compartment would be better accessed by a similar zipper; it only runs on one side so packing the laundry side as flat as the clean side (to maintain the same size and space) is challenging. The curvature of the bottom can be hard to pack into compared to a cube with a little more structure.
Overall I really like this cube and if I have a lot of clothes to bring it's become my first choice. But it's not my favorite to use compared to more classic options.
I own the Travel Backpack, which in the interests of fairness I just reviewed (5 stars). Compared to the quality of that bag, these packing cubes are... disappointing.
The quality is acceptable. I'm not saying these are terrible, they're actually fairly typical. But they're priced as high-end packing cubes, and I don't feel that they deliver on their cost. I don't have any confidence they'll last even half the lifetime of the bag, and when I have to replace them I'll be looking at other options.

Great features with two major design flaw

These bags are great at compression and fitting as many clothes as you can in the space. The zippers are incredibly sturdy and the handles are great. Two major design flaws: the handle straps are too thin and the compression zipper does not have any protection around it, and your fingers will be severely cramped when you try to use the compression feature to zip your clothes up.
Other than this, if you're looking for a simple and functional packing cube with no muss and fuss, this would suffice.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very happy so far

I bought four of the small packing cubes a few weeks ago before a two-week trip to Europe. I had bought and returned a set from Eagle Creek because they seemed flimsy. This Peak Design style is awesome. Not flimsy, so they are easy to pack, but not so thick that they take up a lot of space. The compression feature is pretty easy to use and I love the opposite compartment for dirty clothes. I mostly use a carry on roller board and mine can fit three small on one side and then another small (with shoes and my toiletry bag) on the other side. I packed tops in one, bottoms and dresses in another, undies and PJs in another, and swim suits and workout gear in the last one. I stayed super organized even after 8 different hotels in 13 nights. My boyfriend was jealous haha. A couple of other sizing notes: I had originally bought the medium but it was just too big. Unless you’re a large person or want to pack sweaters, I would buy smalls. Also I had read that the 30L Peak Design bag (which I have) can fit 3 smalls (aka 3 units), but it can actually fit more because they can stand on their sides. We’ll see how they hold up, but so far super happy with my purchase!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Perfect for One Bag Travellers

I've been looking everywhere for a packing cube that is both lightweight and made of strong materials. As someone who travels with one bag only for long extended trips, I want a packing cube that can hold a lot of clothes but compact enough to not take too much space in my bag. With the peak design packing cubes compression system it's a miracle how many clothes I can manage to bring without sacrificing space for my gear ! That with the quick tear straps and clean look makes this packing cube my favourite travel accessory, I strongly recommend anyone looking for a reliable packing cube to consider trying this one !
Much better than I expected and I was expecting greatness! The materials are insane once I got my hands on it. Super light, but still clearly very durable. I was afraid the extra features would weigh down my one-bag packing setup, but nope, still floatin’ like a butterfly. The dirty laundry compartment alone makes these worth every penny. I’m still getting used to not having outer mesh to see what’s inside, but honestly it’s a non-issue.
